I was about to impressed until I clicked the link and saw what the numbers are. I thought it was going to be in the millions or something. It sold 70k more then pc and PS3 and a little closer to 170k Over PS4. But collectively in the ps environment it’s sold more on PS3 and PS4 combined.
The saddest part is seeing the Xbox one sales. That’s really sad unfortunately
Honestly, Technically it’s a cool thing that you know MS is going to can quickly. However, I also don’t care about going back to play a lot of these games. Even looking at them now to many of them just don’t hold up well at all. And the few that do have had superior releases lately that make the emulation look archaic.
If I had to choose between Okami HD remaster vs the ps2 version I’m going to go with the remastered version. I would actually like to see these games remade ...
@shabaz666 I have both and honestly I’m super glad to have the option because I want to try a lot of games out but that doesn’t mean I like or want to own everything I try.
The game was on PSNow for the last year. In fact I beat it because of that, it’s not a negative for me to PAY for a service and it brings games to me.
Nothing wrong with laying the foundation for tech so it can grow naturally. Just make the games worth streaming and you have a winning alternative options. I would still choose a physical setting over a streamed but I love options as well.
Friend and I have been playing this a lot lately and we made it to dream of the Demon difficulty realizing we hadn’t even tapped into this games depths.lol we should be on dream of the wise by the time we get a PS5 and I can’t wait to get all the perks this game will get

The problem with the Xbox controllers is the myth that they are the “best” ergonomically. The little lie to make people feel better about the controller is stifling the controllers development.
I’ve never used an Xbox controller then went to another controller and felt like they were unusable. And the people who perpetuate that need to let it go.

I use both and the comparison is def more Equal then others attempt to spin. Thatgrammar broke it down great. If you use both services you learn quickly there isn't much difference. However the reality is PSNow is cheaper with more games and still people keep trying to say it's not comparable.
It's in some ways better 60 versus 180? 1000 games vs 200? people really need to start breaking this down more.
This desire to install every game at once is the problem of our generation. I have so many games on my HDD and External that I still haven’t started OR beat, next gen I am not repeating this again.
I did PVP one time in this game with my friend. We ran across a few people and I thought they’d leave us be. They initiated combat and I freaked out and shot the guy down. Then while he was crawling I was like...” wait was I supposed to kill him?”

This goes back to the reason Cerny said they designed the PS5 for. The system has lower teraflops but higher clock rate of processing info. This was done in tangent with the SSD to maximize performance.
This is becoming apparent in 3rd party games that the difference on paper is indeed null in void. Optimization beats out raw technical attempts, in other words technique over raw power.

I loved the unified platforms of PC and PS4 but I am not fond of the amount of smurfing that went on. Or the amount of people who black listed ANY body with a “bad” connection in their eyes so they can increase their win chances.

Watching IGNs console comparison talk and seeing they essentially asking about all the PlayStation games you can play on PS5 and then turning to Ryan to include him asking about the 1-3 games to make sure he had something to say was a bit sad.
I’m not even surprised about the ace attorney franchise numbers. That franchise has been synonymous with 3DS its natural that the switch would pull higher numbers. Onimusha is sad to see but I’m willing to bet that if it was an actual mainline entry with modern controls and graphics it would’ve sold better.
