He’s not wrong though, if you have gamepass and turn off your internet and try to play the game it will tell you that you need to be online to play the game. You can register your system as primary and then turn off the online features but it still doesn’t give you access to certain games.

So I do have an always online console. Now! Do I care? No because I have options, I still can you know, buy my games and download or install them from disc. So, it’s not an always online ...

I don’t see the big deal, no one complained when the 360 version of Ultimate Alliance 2 had juggernaut, magneto and others as exclusive characters....

Vgchartz current numbers continue to be off, they had Xbox one at 50+ and corrected it to below. And they had Ps4 at 112 million the last 2-3 months and makes me wonder if switch is really at 60 million units

Buying it

It would be nice if Gamepass had the date when games expire from it

I just bought this from early access to see if it’s something I will want. 7.99 on steam right now not a bad deal. I really hope it’s good and if so that he gets more support

Something else I realized is that the emphasis on Joel’s broken watch ties to Ellie’s story as well. And example of lost time

It’s loaded with family friendly games, my kids love it.

“Ellie never shows in any way that she realized revenge is bad. The game, story and characters do not portray that message in the slightest. The flashbacks don't convey it either. All you see is Ellie telling Abby to leave. “

That’s literally what I got from the ending and stated it weeks ago. So, I would think his message got across clearly if you wanted to hear the story he was telling.

When I saw the glimpse of Joel while she was drowning abby. I u...

I honestly just don’t know anymore on these topics. I’ve seen to much divide on what quality and expectations are in gaming. One minutes DF is preaching 4K and how amazing the One X is to now DLSS 2.0 being more important.

Things shift so much these days and with MS leading to a subscription service for all its 1st party games my only question is. How long until the service is on other platforms?

I can’t defend The way Halo looked, and yes the quality thr...

Feels like the novelty of 4K has been squandered. As a game that is in 4K can still look dated in quality in gameplay mechanics. As a 4K version of a ps2,3,360,Xbox etc is still no more then a 4K version of that game.

So much goes into advancing gaming from Foilage, AI, textures, fluidity of games, core mechanics and exploration. The pixel count is only a small portion of the overall presentation.

Is this the damage control phase?

But it doesn’t offer it now or since it’s been out. See how it’s really you trying to spin a narrative?

2062d ago 0 agree1 disagreeView comment

1st I have been talking about the value of both services. You have been fixated on install base, that’s YOUR narrative.

2nd I stated firmly they both cover each other in missing content. If something releases day one or not is YOUR narrative. A topic I never mentioned again.

3rd if you want to play the what one service offers the other doesn’t. Game pass doesn’t offer streaming. Fewer pc options for games and has a higher price point then ps now.

That’s literally not the point, the point is they complete each other more then gamers are able to see. Also considering Gamepass had an exploit that allowed you to get years for pennies it was a no brained at the time.

If you are literally going to downplay 800 games just because they got some new games on it for a few months you are over simplifying it all.

I have game pass AND ps now it’s like having Hulu and Netflix. Some have movies and shows the oth...

The problem with this notion is it makes it seem like Gamepass is offering something PSNow isn’t and if you have both services you know that’s not the case. Gamepass still only offers roughly 200 games rotating with a lot dropping out. And PSNow offers up to 800 games.

Both services have volleyed games toward each other for different time durations. Example, Metro Exodus was on game pass for a few months now it’s gone and it’s on PS Now.

If you have bot...
