I wasn’t a fan of 16 but yes it did evolve the Final fantasy format further. They are moving forward regardless how people feel. They made 14 turn based games.
They want to move into more action RPGs and change the engagement people have with the franchise. They want to open up to more people and that’s fine, I may not have cared for 16 but I thoroughly enjoyed 15 and the final fantasy 7 remakes.

It’s a very quality rpg so far, the life in the environment, core mechanics, character expressions/details, quality graphics, solid performance. This game definitely deserves the hype.
There will definitely be plenty, I’m not concerned and I’ll likely get one when the donkey Kong game drops

Gamepass ultimate is 20 a month, that’s 240 a year. And before you start talking about deals I’ve been down that road, I’ve done the 1dollars and stacking already. And truthfully? It wasn’t saving me money. I had a catalogue of games but I had the year to play them, and with the games rotating I had a couple months at best to play most.

Sure if you want all of those games it could cost a lot of money. For me, I only wanted 4 of them on the list and I really don’t have a problem with buying them and letting them know I’m willing to support them.
My sons and I are playing this at the same time. Honestly, did not expect it to peak his interest. But, after he saw me doing the early grind he downloaded it to the ps5 and start playing downstairs.
I honestly didn’t expect this game to be so good, but it’s just what I needed after playing so many action games back to back.
50% of a game that sells 2 million is still more then 75% that sell 1million. So, it really doesn’t mean much if you don’t know the approximate numbers
Super solid game so far, I’m really not far. I’ve been grinding in the beginning with Lune and Gustava. I have a better grasp on parrying, dodging and core mechanics though. And farming is really done well, no damage bonuses are on the map you can grind 1400+ to get strong really early.
I look forward to seeing how this game expands and story progresses.

The best thing about options and people is. Things are allowed to cater to others and they enjoy it, and it’s equally okay if you don’t individually vibe with something.
What’s not okay is over criticizing something due to your personal bias and agendas. Campaigning against harmless things that don’t truly dictate anything in your life. I’m not into dragon age games, but I never once made an agenda to tell people how “bad” each iteration is because it didn’t click for me.
For me it’s this and lost souls aside.
I am guilty as of yesterday lol I bought the HD collection on Playstation and the definitive edition of DmC for 20 bucks yesterday. Granted, I already own them on PC and Physically and just wanted a convenient spot because I was planning on doing a sit down at the TV playthrough with my son.

I figured ps4 level quality because that’s more or less what assus rog and steam deck are giving. This is just late to a show device again.
Now granted, there is NOTHING wrong with ps4/xbone grade games. It’s just sad to consistently see we have to wait 10 years for Nintendo to just take the tech of devices we already bought and resell it to us portably.
Is it really a brag when it’s just barely edging out the device developers screamed was holding them back on releasing games for the Xbox? Feel like we really need to think this one through
Honestly I would love to just see Nariko a character that can traverse the multiverse of Sony IPs and explore alternative story lines that are contrary to the stories ending.
Heck to see Nariko in GoW universe then after the events of correcting that alternate reality. It places her in uncharted universe or syphon filter.
Create a purpose for the character that also gives praise to older franchises and let us relive them in unique new ways.
I find it interesting that more or less they are saying switch 2 is either really worth 400 and the 80 game is what bumps it to the 500 msrp. Or! Switch is really worth 450 and Mario kart is a 50 dollar add in but for a physical/separate release you can pay the premium of 80 for the game.
However, knowing they are charging 340 equivocal dollars for switch 2 in Japan. We know that the 450 msrp is crap as well as the 80 dollar game.
Anytime I see an author/person start comparing other games. I lose interest, I don’t need you to knock or drag some other game to elevate another. I just want to know about THE GAME IM INTERESTED IN!
