Honestly, gameplay wise. It doesn’t age as well, I still enjoy the story and its pushing of the ps1 hardware at the time. But, it would DEFINITELY benefit from a remake/overhaul. The pacing could improve, exploration and enemy encounters would benefit massively from open world standards.

They could introduce new exploration mechanics as well, and the battle system could emulate Clair obscures. In fact, I think it would be awesome if they signed that team to re-imagine it. ...

I truthfully don’t understand the all digital appeal of steam machine for mass consumers. I’m primarily digital but I still have a large collection of physical games. So, even though I’ve moved more into the digital only space.

I am an exception not the rule, even with the ps5 pro people were LIVID to not have a disc option. And, all consoles have been balanced between physical and digital. And I don’t believe the physical market is only half of the consumer.

So are people really in these comments arguing pc over PlayStation like they 12 again?lol it’s just hardwired into some people I guess they NEED to argue over nothing.

For me it’s not that I’m playing games longer because they are longer. It’s just games don’t have as high a priority in my life as my core responsibilities. And I’m okay with not even rushing the quick games.

It’s fine for me to play an hour of a game every other day. And because of that I don’t feel the urgency to buy games day 1 especially at their current selling price. I simply can play 3 or 4 different titles over 6-8 months and the other games will go on sale and be 2...

Did people really think they would let people potentially profit off of what THEY said was trash? It’s actually funny people even tried this

Sony doing this seems to make sense with the impending steam machine. My Biggest questions for the steam machine:

1.steam may have free online, but it’s digital side for offline is lacking even on pc. We waged a whole war for not requiring always online against MS, Sony and Nintendo. Does that go away with a steam machine when all of its content is online?
2. Cost, I genuinely don’t see this thing costing less the 500 and if it’s 650-800 what makes people believe t...

Claire obscures soundtrack literally is a strong aspect of the core game. None of the other games have such a strong tie to its soundtrack nor that weight that Claire has in pulling the player in. Big L for the Grammys to ignore this game and proof this is a controlled talent show more then a true event of accomplishments.

I think the funniest thing to me was the Pecker sword in 3 but overall 3 was a pretty terrible game. I tell myself I want to go back and retry the remake of each version and I just don't feel like taking it to 1080p is going to change a pretty mediocre game at it's core

My problem is I’ve played all of them but probably collectively an hour a piece for each. Never really got into them and always got them on discount. I wonder if that’s just the general consensus on this game. Because doesn’t feel like any of them are really worth it

I just noticed there is a switch version and a switch 2 version. Have their been any comparisons to the 2 or are they the same exact game on both?

I feel like this would be a franchise that won’t use the expedition for sequels. I see the developers making a “Claire obscur: insert theme of story” kinda like Final Fantasy 10:7/13 with following stories or just Claire obscur 2: insert story narrative

This game legit satisfied me this year. I honestly, hadn’t felt that way about a game in a long time. And the pro consumer moves making from the beginning dropping at 50 bucks, free dlc quality of life improvements to the game along the way. It was truly amazing to experience this game

I cancelled my GP service over a year ago. I hate feeling like I have a deadline to play my games, and I’m way to busy to be prioritizing games that way

I am eerily calmed by the pace of the game. I enjoy the delivery driving, building roads with the occasional threats between. I enjoy the smaller stories learning about the people in the bunkers. I also like the fact I can play this game casually and not feel like I NEED to get to the conclusion.

I have it plugged into my Pro and that’s right next to my PC with the adapter. I just move my chair I’m ready. I just legit struggle with time to play the content.

I’ve got a collection of PSVR2 games I just haven’t been able to get around to playing due to my schedule. I even have PC vr games I just haven’t gotten to.

@daver Well the truth is that a lot of the things said on this site amongst others is an argument. You could make a neutral statement and still find someone arguing with you. You can say you liked a game others didn't play or like and you can get flamed. It's not worth it generally speaking coming to a site and feeling like you have to defend yourself over a hobby that you have to pay for with people you don't even know.

Back in the day when the forums had sele...
