I got the ultimate edition for 70 back in July. And it has routinely been on sale for 40 on every platform the last like 6 months. I know because I been watching the deals for it because I had an interest in this game.
We really at the point of complaining about who presents what these days? I’m like… you are getting to see a new game on a featured platform. We don’t have many big events anymore… at least we getting something here and there
I’d like to know the full breakdown. The ps5 pro only has two modes. Pro performance and quality pro, they are both locked 60fps and I legit can’t tell a difference except the quality mode seems to have judder.
Overall the game has been extremely stable and it feels somewhat modern but also kind of like ps2 era in some ways of story/pacing.
I’m honestly expecting this 3rd entry to go nuts. I felt like the first 2 were following the original story closely while laying small changes that really pivot the end of it. It gave us enough of the originals content with gold saucer, nebhelhim and the lost temple. That makes the finally in giving Wutai storyline a strong presence but to also blend Zack’s story into it.
We can likely see Vincent and the Turks stronger output with maybe Genesis, and the shadow guy( I forg...
The difference from something like Death stranding 2 being carefully crafted and made to have the platforms best utilities. Vs a company that just owns an IP but no vision behind it versus cashing in on nostalgia.
Say what you want about Kojima but he hasn’t released a single game with crap performance after leaving Konami and you could argue the reason games did so well at Konami is because he was over seeing them.
Making the ps5 pro complaints look silly now
I play for STG - Lexreborn2 I’m just the old man of the team trying to support a younger generation of players.
I enjoyed Evo and honestly the setups this year were actually pretty amazing. They rotated PlayStation had a great high quality monitor. The events ran a little sketchy to me though. I was in Jwong pool and they held off our progress for nearly an hour to wait for him.
But no names were being DQd in like 15 minutes. Then when I was on stream I had to wait ANOTHER hour for My opponent because he was a streamers brother. It felt kind of Hollywood, and it’s hard to maintain f...
Wonder if the second kollection will include Shaolin monks
The difference between a small studio getting a check to keep them in business to see a project through. Is very different from a AAA project that settles on sales that won’t meet their projections for profit to release day and date.
We know not all offers to these devs are equal. Some getting offered millions, others thousands. It’s the transparency we don’t fully get that makes the topic hard to discuss because they don’t give us hard numbers.
Remember when mafia 3 sold 4.5 million in its first week. And people still claimed it was a failure including after selling 7 million worldwide? Good times… hated how much that game was attacked
It is just unfortunate, a lot of people who boast about Gamepass well they are clearly series s holders. It’s 70-80% of their overall sales. So, to know 70-80% of the people who brandish Gamepass also are limited to the series S version which has the worst performance sucks.
You buy these things because it seems like the best bang for your buck. But, the quality that is commonly given really blows when you know you’ll get the worst performance at this point.
The biggest take away is definitely the majority of people who will be playing this in an Xbox environment will be be playing on the series S and from Gamepass. That’s unfortunate because easily they will be the ones to find it the most unenjoyable experience.
A link to the past remake would be fantastic
I mentioned this SO much, people who put more weight on steam concurrent players but ignore consoles is weird. Or using steam drop offs as if no one’s playing something on multiple systems and has cross play. It’s just not the best metric for the complete story
PlayStation Core allows you to buy movies, I also still have access to all of my movies and tv series I purchased on from the prior service they have before they made core.
I’m finding the which is better discussion for Zelda games has grown to be really subjective. The Zelda games across the board are so dramatically different. My favorite are link to the past and ocarina of time. But, I haven’t enjoyed a Zelda games since.
It’s not because one is better than the other, it’s just the core mechanics of each game to follow weren’t that engaging to me. I didn’t like the time loop of MM, the motion controls of TP(I got the GameCube version much ...
It’s not a bad thing it’s just not a great thing either. It’s an option, and one that can hinder your gaming experience or increase it depending on your circumstances.
In my circumstances it hinders me, in others they are enabled. I’m not demonizing it I’m just not benefitting overall like I used to be 10-15 years ago.
I bought Jedi survivor before it his plus, and honestly this is a prime example of what I have an issue with tying my gaming time to my subscriptions. It’s nice to get games in the subscription that I can play.
However, between the time frame of how long they are available and how long my subscription lasts. I feel like I’m on the clock to beat my games. And, honestly I don’t have the time I used to have prior to working my career and having a household of 5 to take care of...
I think it’s just not worth the argument to fight so much anymore with the current state of the world. Lots of people also can’t focus on gaming like they used to. I know my time is vastly limited
