Well, I for one am not renewing Gamepass. I gave Xbox 3 years of patience with Gamepass having ultimate and they didn’t deliver anything that I already didn’t own and failed to live up to their promises.
Regardless what anyone says Gamepass and PS essentials are completely comparable with marginal differences in catalog. Both rotate the same games for timing (trek to yomi, stray, the ascent, the medium, tunic etc.) but the key difference is one is cheaper then the other.

I pretty much maxed out my characters and as long as those efforts come full circle with a new story I’m perfectly fine with dusting off my crew and breaking through the story. I would rather have an expansion I can just enjoy and maybe get a few extra things then starting over.
First off Tales of Arise Expansion, Spider-Man 2, Resident evil 4 VR, Ghostbusters VR is more then enough to get me through the year.
To me Tales of Arise was in my top games the year it dropped. Loved EVERYTHING about that game I plat it getting a full story expansion is hype news to me.
And Final Fantasy 7 rebirth looks incredible all they had to do was start with Zack but it looks beautiful as hell
Oh how the mighty have fallen
Starfield entire interface looks like Aliens Isolation interface.
The series S feels like karma coming home after all the Xbox fans were talking about the ps4 pro saying it was a mistake (even though it carried a lot of games towards the end of last gen) and now they have the entire beginning to end of this generation having to accept series S as a true mistake
Always people on an article acting like they can’t figure out the target audience of a device. It never feels genuine, sure you might not be able to figure it out for yourself. But there’s always a way to realize why others want something
@bryan
By that same logic what would be the point of having an Xbox? If you have a pc that handles both ps5 and Xbox games you don’t need either.
I just want some games for my series X I have both since release and after weighing the offerings in PS Essentials to Gamepass I quickly realized I Owned anything of worth in both catalogs. And, the things I didn't I didn't see as justifiable for maintaining both subs.
Since then my series X is a legacy machine that I play my old games on and that's it. 3 years ago I really thought from that Xbox showcase we were going to have some great games by now. Instead, ...
I bought this on pc and ps5 wish cross play was an option day one
Not sure how this was even a comparison to make. And not sure why you had to choose these games other then annoying internet people for clicks
Tales of Arise did that better in my opinion, and was a better action game at that.
The boss battles are honestly the best thing about the game. But I legit skip all dialogue because it’s neither engaging or interesting. (I don’t skip main dialogue but see my mind wandering off in main topics) the games slow pace in the main world is jarring considering how fast the game loads.
I would think running through the towns wouldn’t cause THAT much performance issues. And his baby hops for a jump… why ground a guys jump that can teleport!? It takes me out of the ...
Honestly, you can’t guarantee in the next 5 years they’ll release even 1 of those classic titles. But you can certainly guarantee they’ll release 5-10 CoD in the next 10 years each netting them billion in revenue.
What is with this weird fetish Xbox guys been having with “bending the knee”? Every comment section from sites reporting on this has them saying that. Are you guys okay?
I like naughty dog games and loved Days Gone as well. I think days gone had/has amazing potential. We just like what we like, the worst game I played this year was easily gungrave. That is a standard for terrible games
I can honestly say the same things you just said with playing Hogwarts and even FF16. I’m 70% in FF16 still getting side quest that feel mundane. Walking through towns feels slow for no reason, and traversal is non existent. Still having fun but those two games are far more of a chore then Forspoken Was for me.
It’s personal opinion at the end of the day but overall I feel I understand my liking and have tried these games out to be okay with my views.
Forspoken is easily my favorite game this year. Not just because it is, but in terms of actual fun it’s the most fun I had. I felt like I was actually playing a game. Things weren’t scripted and I had so much liberty to really experiment with her growing powers/abilities.
And man was the increasing display of her power as you got stronger beautiful. I loved traversing the world, bouncing around gliding and zip lining across pillars. The verticality of the game mixed with th...
Glad to hear that! I hate motion blur
So close to finishing this game. Pretty sure if I didn’t spend 300 hrs on SF6 I would’ve finished this.
