This showcase was pretty bad
I’ve hit my struggle in diamond 3 now with JP but I think I’m just exhausted from not being up to par in grinding online. I’ve been playing over 60 hours already
So it looks like monster hunter world sold better than ride. Although 12 million is nothing to sneeze at
I put roughly 30+ hours into bow before I realized I just wasn’t enjoying the game. Downloaded the tears of the kingdom so I could demo it to see if it would be worth me trying again and realized quickly it’s not for me. I personally would’ve given bow a 7 or 7.5 because for the most part I did put 30 hours into it.
But, tears of the kingdom being more or less the same I just could do it again. To each their own but this personally wasn’t for me.
Played through the open beta, was originally concerned that I wouldn’t be as adept as the ppl who got early access. Thankfully the 25+ years of fighting game experience actually matters. And their ability to auto rank you is beautiful.
Much rather they recognize my skill and I work from there then to go from the bottom to the top. Grade A for rewarding good players out the gate

I ignore complaints on all these conferences because they can never live up to the expectations of people with their hearts set on a particular experience. No longer do people take shows for what they are, they look to use them to load their internet guns up to just attack strangers with.

No it doesn’t, I am severely underwhelmed by tears of the kingdoms presentation and execution. I am not as interested in the game as others have been and just like how I was underwhelmed by breathe of the wild the trend continues with tear of the kingdom.
To me it just proves how easy people are willing to move the marker of quality based on bias. I don’t support it and I’m pretty cool on the lack luster quality Nintendo has got away with on switch.

It literally never fails
Hellblade 2 has taken longer to make with a bigger team and budget than the first one did so far. It’s crazy to me how we’re moving into year 4 of waiting on gameplay with Hellblade 2, I’m seriously starting to wonder if it’s mandated that once you start working for or with MS that you delay your efforts.

MS will have 1 year maybe 2 of releasing a storm of games before going dark again. They do it every gen, and it never fails. Because then as the generation comes to an end everyone will be like, why has it been 3 years of no games and then they drop their next system.

@mr pumblechook I have a 12 and 9 year old, it’s my job as a parent to get the games they play. If a game has a t for teen or pegi 12 then it’s labeled appropriately and isn’t meant for their kid. That’s on them
I don’t see the shine, I didn’t even watch the Sony conference but I watch the Xbox conference and it just wasn’t good.
There was so much of the same but no actual gameplay for anything I would find interesting.
