Whining wasn’t my issue with Laura in new games. The issue I had was the extreme homicidal aspects of her, she went from “surviving” treacherous scenarios in the 1st one to just straight up going to action murdering trinity.
Even to the point of flooding an entire town to “stop” trinity. She murdered a crap ton of innocent people.

As someone who plays the game…. It’s not. The worst thing about it is the paid emotes and costumes. But I’m also not phased by things like that, deadshot feels amazing to use, king shark is an absolute powerhouse, boomerang has the second best verticality next to deadshot and all give some varied styles of play.
If you want to act like repetition doesn’t exist in all games you could try and say that gets stale. But I also enjoy musuo games which are king of rinse and repeat...

Gaming news really seems to over value Steam numbers to talk about games. It's only part of the overall equation but they will make it seem like it speaks for everyone's enjoyment. We know that the numbers on other platforms could be higher or lower depending on where people want to buy but because they don't have that info they don't talk about it.

Except suicide squad isn’t even the same type of game as Arkham knight. You can’t say just because a studio made a game you are familiar with when they try something COMPLETELY different in gameplay and mechanics that it’s comparable to the past.

Im honestly not bothered by gaas game because i dont play most any of them. But if i do the base content always matters to me.
I’m not going to buy cosmetics, skins or anything that is not related to the gameplay. I think it’s high time people start acting like adults about where gaming is and going. If the actual content of the game is behind a paywall? Boycott. If they are charging for cosmetics but the base game is good? Just don’t buy what you don’t want
Arkham knight is only a game that everyone in there mom has and you could get it for 4 bucks at times on Pc. I’ve got the entire franchise on PC from a humble bundle at one point for like 10-15 bucks.
I have also been playing Suicide squad with my buddy very leisurely and we are at post game content. still having fun with the game

Doesn’t need to be as strong as the ps5 can be as strong as a steam deck or a little less. Would still be stronger than its predecessor. And if its in the same architecture it could be a all digital system too and the primary console could be physical and digital.
I wish they would release a console and handheld simultaneously. We already know they’ll release a base model, then a lite within 2-3 years then an “enhanced” with 5. So I wish they would just cut through the bull. Release a powerful system that’s almost as strong as a ps5 series x. And release a portable right with it, something as strong as the steam deck that can run the consoles at lower resolutions but portable.

I said before that they would use this game as a multiverse/elseworlds adaption and got slammed for it. Now it’s proving they are using it in that context and I’m sure ppl will still talk about how much it ruins things in Arkham verse. A universe whose story was done and could be disposable but have a connection for the player.
Oh well I bought the game and I’ll measure it on my own merits. Regardless what people who won’t buy it says.
