The funny thing is not souls game truly plays the same, each game is so drastically different then the next from combat to lore. The only things “similar” is if in say the dark souls franchise having a shared narrative and landscape.
But everything else is extremely different. Narratively, gameplay, settings and more. Only thing you can say is similar is the insane difficulty at times.
I think it’s really high time for the people who continue to complain ...
I’m curious to see the other villains more then joker to be honest.
I loved this game so much when I played it on psp I bought it again a couple years back then they announced the remake on psn followed by steam and I will buy it again on steam soon
Save you a click, play the side quests with the bandits
I’m 10 hours in and I’ve been doing all the grassland side quest. I can tell I’m going to slow burn this game, I don’t need to rush the main story because for the most part I do know where I’m going so I’m trying to experience the things I’ve never done.
The bandit side quest was adorable and fun, the card game is actually interesting to me. Finding the chad missions has been feeling rewarding. I haven’t even crossed the swamp yet. They really put a lot of love into this g...
Well if you have say a service that provides you ps5 digital games for “free” and you were on the fence or waiting for a deal and it’s there. Want to try it immediately and not use your storage the streaming makes a lot of sense.
If you are equipped to handle streaming and higher quality and the latency isn’t an issue or not twitch for say an Action or competitive game. Streaming can also work there, technology advances in options no reason to buckle down on an old method t...
Then what’s the problem? If avengers had people who enjoyed it and played it until it died. Which the game lasted what 3 years?
So you had some form of people who played it for 3 years and enjoyed it. What’s wrong with those people being supported and given content for something they paid for?
Two pickles shouldn’t be flamed because on a article that’s talking about support for a game he enjoys getting more content but people who come in the article that...
I got it on pc, I was able to get it just slightly cheaper there. I have been considering getting it on ps5 as well but I got rebirth instead.
For me if a game is cross play I’ll likely get it on PC. If it’s a single player experience on pc and console I’ll likely get PC because it’s cheaper. If it’s exclusive it goes without question where I’m getting it
I was REALLY looking forward to this game but this was legit my biggest let down. The removal of Firearms just didn't sit right with me. Having to spend upwards 20 hours to get the things that make the game fun like the grappling hook and kite just irritated me. But the biggest offense was going into my friends world to help and none of my progress carrying over from co-op. That is NOT co-op and it's not fun, I have to see what changes they've made maybe I'll revisit but hones...
It's still crazy to me how many people AREN'T playing it, yet EVERY one has an opinion on it based off a reviewer who showed their biases against the narrative but universally everyone agrees the games core is fun minus their narrative expectations.
It feels like every year has to start with a Good game that people don't play that they HAVE to crucify.
Yall be so pressed to hate someone actually enjoying something it’s wild lol
Glad I got it on PC, buddy and I were playing last night. Finished the initial story and now in post game content, we ended up only maxing out 2 characters in story mode, going to max the other two out in post game but excited to see if that 3rd character is black manta. Would be super interesting to see how he would play
Funny you said I’m unwilling to hear others points when I heard it but gave a great example of how the trend existed for as long as you can remember.
But hey you have a great evening too, and if all you care about is the opinion of those that agree with you well good luck with that vibe
I don’t think I am because honestly, ports/remakes/remasters has happened consistently since snes to ps1.
How many times did they remaster street fighter and put it in a collection? Literally every system.
How many times you got tons of these games added to the newer system? Always, this ain’t new it’s just your focus
I’m like is it though? Last I checked there’s were a f ton of new ips and continuations that superseded the remakes. You sure you might not just be over embellishing because it’s what you are focused on?
Except star ship troopers extermination is unpolished and not as fun. I enjoyed a stage of ST:E but that was it it fumbled the ball
I would love a modern remake of Phantasia.
I’m honestly not even mad at this game doing so well in its player count. I’ll be able to get on eventually but I’m happy for them. If it’s 450k on steam you can only imagine how many on PlayStation. The game is refreshing funny and looks, plays and is amazing.
Crazy how we have Helldivers 2, rise of the ronin and final fantasy rebirth and there are people talking about ps5 struggling. We still have stellar blade, phantom blade zero and lost souls aside potentially coming out this year and I’m sure plenty other.
They’ve even been dropping a bunch of VR content that I truly can’t keep up with this many games. But we will pretend that PlayStation has lost it right?
As a person who plays fighting games religiously, I completely agree with you. I rather have a base fighting game that gets added content over time then the previous model that was like call of duty and still charged for the cosmetics. People talk about this time where you unlocked costumes and characters in a menu. But, those characters weren't truly unique. They were more like an alternate skin of another character with a few animation changes.
The difference in char...
