It’s weird you say helldivers doesn’t feel like a live service when I absolutely feel it does. There is a loop of bullet sponge bosses and it’s mostly the same exact maps with the same enemy types. I honestly feel more like I jump into helldivers and piggy back off my friends.
But when I solo played it I felt like I couldn’t do anything, when I solo played Suicide Squad I never felt encumbered by needing to buy cosmetics but people swore that it was bad because it is GaaS ...

One of my biggest issues with TR reboots was the lack of true stealth options. It just felt like it was tiptoeing the line the whole time and it was annoying.

I still haven’t finished it, mostly due to it not holding my interest after 20 hours. Wouldn’t say it’s a bad game, wouldn’t say it’s amazing I really can’t judge it fully due to not completing it.
So now that dead island 2 hit steam, I noticed that there is still epic store features baked into the game. In fact, on pc it still has you sign into an epic account, not sure if that’s for cross platform play between steam and epic. But makes me wonder if when AW2 hits steam will there be an epic store dependency

What I find interesting is the perspective people are having with the likes of it reviewing similar to rise of ronin. Remember RoR hit with these same scores and ppl were actually saying “bad game” etc (to me nothing a 5 and over is a “bad game it’s just might not be what some people are looking for at that time.)

Reviewers are always looking for the next HYPE game trend because it generates revenue for their sites. The problem is not every game has ever been that, so they tend to use negative articles to catch people attention and pick up steam.

I have been enjoying taking my time lately in games versus rushing to say I played the latest release.
I’m like new fans are the future of the franchise, you know older fans typically stop playing a franchise or worse, we get old and die.
