There's some concerns about the main backers of the Epic Game Store being Chinese, but I think the main issues arose because Epic released it's super way before it was ready. It's missing a lot of quality of life features that Steam has had for years. Some basic features like a shopping cart.
I think they're just worried about a lawsuit.
shenmue specifically said you'd get your choice and you could pick a Steam key if you wanted. Then they changed and said actually no, and we're not honoring the steam keys.
That's false advertising and it's illegal. Epic doing the refunds costs probably way way less than a lawsuit would.
Is Patcher still relevant in the gaming world? I thought everyone gave up on listening to him back when he said the PS3 was doomed.
Man, remember when the First Modern Warfare released and we could shoot through walls and other cover.....12 years ago.

Are you telling me you didn't put 7000 hrs into Inquisition's Multiplayer
I loved the concept of Inquisitions multiplayer but it was just done to shit. The levels were way way to challenging and with started weapons, and you couldn't get better weapons unless you completed the level or bought microtransactions.
Cause that worked so well for Inquesition
Because a very small minority of gamers are getting sick of publishers releasing half finished games

The fact that Sony and Microsoft can't figure out how to competitively price digital games. (This last one is my main reason. There's no reason that a game in Gamestop is $25 new but on PSN it's still $40. If Sony/Microsoft could competitively price digital games then they'd sell like hotcakes
Much like this article which is simply winning that people didn't like their review. This article brings up no actual points on why "professional reviews" need to continue or why Fan Reviews are less valid the critic reviews. It basically just said, "Reviews are a thing and here's what people whine about."
Too bad it's not a great choice. Three games or one 2 year old game. I'd understand switching one game out but not all three
There have been a few decent games to come out of Kickstarter/Indeigogo but far too few.
No. They don't have to release any details if they don't want. But if they expect people to believe the line "this is different then people think" then they should probably actually address what people are saying.
If someone just told you "Nope you're wrong" on something without explaining why would you believe them?
"This isn't like what people expect" but won't explain what it actually is.
Address the direct concerns. I'm not going to buy it until I know it's not another Rust, but if Bethesda could explain how they learned from what happened with Rust and are addressing it then I'd be more willing to buy it.
No. The US versions were not officially licensed by Kojima and MGS3 Subsistence and the HD remakes already have the official MG1 and MG2 on them.
So is this a sequel to 3 or a reboot?
It's dropping by 10% so it'll be $9 instead of $9.99

They don't say Steam now, but they did say Steam. After Epic bought the exclusivity they changed it and said they weren't going to honor stream keys.
