This is a good attitude. Whether it's PS4>XB1 or vise versa developers need to make the games the best than can possibly be
@DragonKnight A problem can be large or small irregardless of how many people support it. A small group of people can create a very big problem. That problem I eluded to was the fact that gamers are not being taken seriously by any news or media outlet not specializing in gaming.
"Now let's talk about how immensely wrong you are about GamerGate. I don't know why I'm wasting my time since it's clear what side of the fence you're on, but this..." ...
The important point here is that regardless of what Ms. Alexander did or didn't say, or what was implied or not, there is a large problem with the gaming "community". That problem is, as ginganinja said "there's a noisy minority of 'gamers' who are giving the majority a bad name, and that the term 'gamer' is being sullied by them." More than the actions of one critic, who granted has been very outspoken in her beliefs on gaming, the actions of the o...
I remember reading somewhere that DLC sells best in it's first 30 days after the game releases, when people still have the rose colored glasses on. Season Passes are just a different version of that. Instead of gamers having on Rose Colored Glasses they are still riding the Hype train.
As far as F2P games there are two versions. Pay to win and Pay for convenience. Games that do F2P well, such as Warframe, you can unlock everything (except accessory items for decorations o...
Thank you. I hate sites that separate the list of different pages to generate clicks.
I loved Gravity Rush. To this date it's still my favorite Vita game. My only real problem with it was the aiming mechanic making it hard to hit enemies at times. But I loved the concept of "you're not flying, you're just falling in a different direction."
Don't worry too much. There isn't any confirmation or actual factual basis to these. It's just pure speculation.
Thanks. I've spent the overwhelming majority of my time in that first area you get to. I just finally entered the storm coast. There's just so much stuff to do.
I don't finish as many games now because I'm an adult. I have a full time job, a wife, and a new born daughter. I picked up Dragon Age Inquisition on the Christmas sale for PSN and have since played about 20 hours of it in 5 weeks. That's about 4 hours a week, and it's the only game I've been playing since I've been trying to beat it. Right now my wife and daughter are away visiting family and I've had the last 2 days off work but I've still only put about 4 ho...
He lost me at WOW
Dragon's Dogma for the win. I wish they released a new one. I also kinda feel like Deep Down is going to be a bit of a spiritual successor to it.
"Igor Baksht was giving his 13-year-old niece a PlayStation 4 bybdke for Christmas
Ah yes. The legendary PS4 Bybdke. The most amazing PS4 in existence.
The problem is it's usually just one kid doing it. So they arrest 1, or charge 1 with a crime and there's another one. It's not hard to do a DDOS and that's the problem. Anyone with about an hour of free time can figure it out.
These aren't even hacks. They're a DDOS (Directed Denial of Service). Basically all they do is take a bunch of bots and have them all try to log in at the same time. The servers get overwhelmed and can't handle it.
The reason they don't hack a bank is because they're not hackers.
One that I love is : Fallout- In Japan it bans all mentions of nukes
But we didn't. Not necessarily. Square Enix published the first Tomb Raider reboot, so it was understood that they would be publishing the second one, but once Microsoft came out and said that they were publishing it it became a new question. Why would Microsoft publish a game on a Sony platform? The answer was they aren't. As part of the Exclusivity Microsoft is publishing the game on their own platform first. Then it will be published by Square Enix on other platforms afterwards. ...
Did you actually play Skyrim, like at all? I put over 200 hours in the first few weeks I wouldn't call that unplayable at all. The only time when Skyrim became truely unplayable was the glitch on PS3 when I couldn't go underwater without it crashing.
Ubisoft has been worse than EA for a long time. They've come out and said "We won't publish a game unless we can make a franchise out of it." They still do Online passes. Push DLC down people's throats, created their own service which has to be used to play PC games. They've been worse than EA for a while.
Decent enough list I suppose but let me point out the problems with game sharing. If you want to allow someone else to use all your games than you activate their console as the "primary" console. This allows them to download and play your games without having to be signed into your account. You sign into your account on your PS4 (the one not activated as the Primary) and can play your games. The problem is that you (the console not primary) can only play your games when you are sign...
