Brilliant!
There's a PETA lover lurking this site somewhere....Notice how every comment attacking PETA has a disagree vote....Grab your pitchforks and torches. We're going on a witch (PETA) hunt.
This is ridiculous. Nintendo needs to take the Ubisoft approach here and call PETA out for being idiots. I love what Ubisoft said so much that I'm going to quote them here. This is what PETA said about AC4 "Whaling—that is, shooting whales with harpoons and leaving them to struggle for an hour or more before they die or are hacked apart while they are still alive—may seem like something out of the history books, but this bloody industry still goes on today in the face of internationa...
Read another article. Do more research outside of this site. I've read about a dozen articles covering this and they all seem to say different things, here's one that says they get paid.
http://www.engadget.com/201...
What all of these articles have in common is that Foxconn has "allegedly" forced students to work overtime and night shifts as...
Did you read the article or just the headline? The VOLUNTEER students are being paid, and earning college credit. Doesn't sound like such a bad idea to me.
Did anyone actually read the article? The real article? These are volunteer students that are interning, being paid, and earning college credit for it. Not bad if you ask me.
You wouldn't be that off if it's anything like the PS2 launch, which judging from hype its bigger. People died at the Ps2 launch. Litterally old ladys were shot for a PS2.
I agree with you on a lot of what you said. I didn't play GTA 4 of SR4 so I can neither agree or disagree if anything is an improvement over those games, but I can agree with you on almost everything else. There is no reason why the language should be so foul, the aiming is still wonky, sure now the target locks to someone and you don't have to do anything, including trying to handle "recoil" as Valenka mentioned. There's not accuracy or recoil to worry about when the ga...
I agree with backlash. I get what an os is and it's cool that valve is making a dedicated gaming one, if I can be so bold as to call it that, but what valve has said time and time again is that pcs and living rooms don't mix well. That's the whole reason they started the steam box project. So what is a living room machine? And on the subject of streaming to a TV how? How will this work? Will I have to buy a smart TV to use it, or will there be a little doggle like cromecast? Valve...
What are you going on about? If they want 32 people to be playing at one time on your ps3 they are going to make it so 32 people can play on your ps3. The only thing that would prevent you from being able to would be your internet.
It's different. GTAV is trying to load an entire city. BF3 is only loading one map at a time where the only things moving are the players and whatever they interact with. GTAV has thousands of things moving all the time. So imagine trying to upload and download thousand of moving objects every second while you're connected as well as trying to constantly upload and download 64 players that are interacting with those objects and making them behave outside of the normal programmed routi...
Who's Iam? And why is he not impressed?
@Enemy
Not really. The Xbox doesn't sell well in Japan. Actually it's sold so poorly that Microsoft abandoned the market all together. Not really surprising.
"are you getting any profit for helping them fund the project? no." Obviously not. You don't get any money from GTAV even though everyone who bought GTA4 helped to fund GTAV. You get the game. It's just a different system. Instead of buying the game after it's released and your money being used to fund later projects your money is being used to fund the current game. No you don't any momentary, you get the game.
Is this really considered news?
My biggest complaint with the Wii U isn't anything listed above. It's the same complaint as with the Wii. There aren't enough games that interest me. Sure some of those titles above look cool but I'm not really interested in any of them. What I want on the Wii U, and probably the only thing that will make me turn it on again, is Super Smash Bros and a new Fire Emblem.
"Nintendo isn't marketing it" I agree with SilentNegoiator on this point. A lot of that comes from the lack of TV/internet ads. Marketing 101 is don't make people research your product. You are trying to get them to buy it right then and there from what you've told them. If someone doesn't know what your product is it's not because they didn't know and should, its because your marketing failed. Think about it like this. There are millions of products on the m...
Are you referring to the headset they were working on a number of years ago? I think it simulated a 75 foot screen.
I'll buy whichever I can use on more devices. If Sony's is like their first Headset and can only be used on PS4 than I'll get the OR
Prepare yourself for lots of hatred. People are going to be tearing into you and your review because you gave this game a low score. Good luck mate.
