Ah.....the joys of playing games online eh? lol That's why I'm not a fan of always playing online and I rather like playing single player games or multiplayer locally instead. Just found out Gran Turismo Prologue has the exact same problems with online cheaters in time trial mode.
....because I thought the whole reason we play games is to get some enjoyment out of it, you know, that little word called: FUN. Procedural texturing and all that jazz are all very nice, but will those games be "fun" to play?
Fortunately enough though, I've found the MGS series to be bloody fun to play and I mean every iteration of it all the way back to the NES. I love all those quirky game mechanics Kojima and his talented team put in and I really like the effort they...
Thx for the info man. See you online :)

Man, just a few more hours or a day day and a bit to buy it! My PS3 set-up i've got in my room was made for this lol! Here's a question to you guys: What's the difference between the online version and the Blu-Ray one apart from the former's ability to run from your harddrive obviously? Need to know before I buy the downloadable version
Guess I'll see you guys in the pits soon, especially Mr Mighty Douche and I think Mr Deep (correct me if I'm wrong) my fellow Londonites :)
sigh.....what an idiot....
So I guess it was the millions of gamers that elected the mighty George Bush huh? I wonder if George "dub-ya" Bush Jr plays video games, cause I know they want to blame his stupidity on that as well!
It must be impossible for a guy to play videogames, go to work, pay the mortgage AND have a social life.....how do I do it?
Life is not brilliant, everything in the news is depressing (in the UK at the moment anyway, some...
I fully agree with article. I sometimes like just to play out an adventure by myself without having to worry if my team mate is lagging behind or whatever. Also, having multiplayer in every release is pointless because as the article states, there is always are handful of games that the majority of players will stick too. Strangleholds lobbies are usually bare for example.
An big example is that I bought COD4 when it came out and up until this day I still haven't touched the on...
I've got Eyetoy Kinetic for the PS2, and I still use it to this day to supplement my martial arts training. It is brilliant!! I really don't know how you can compare a "Balance Board" to the software Nike and Sony created. What the hell? All the exercises I've seen with Wii Fit can be done without the bloody board, like press ups and the Yoga demonstration. If you want a game to keep you fit, go get Eyetoy Kinetic or if you're feeling brave, go get Eyetoy Kinetic Combat......that ga...
Yeah, I'm with you on that one. In fact, if they dub it for the Uk release, I probably won't buy it. That was the reason I didn't buy Yakuza, just borrowed it off a friend for a bit. No point in setting it in a authentic Japanese atmosphere and having characters speak with a bloody American or English accent! Just doesn't gel for me.
Sry Douche, but I gotta disagree with you there, I live in London and I still get a few looks when I pull out my HTC TYTN 2 and use it like a laptop with it's tilt
......of course those looks aren't from women :(
......that's what my Nokia N93i is for :)
......of course they may only be looking at the mirror on it so they can use their make-up :(
Quickly moving on....yeah, that Sony Xperia X1 looks like the dog's nads!! Could be the only pho...
Well, I'll stick to my HTC TYTN 2. Still haven't seen a device to this day that can top it's functionality! (That INCLUDES the IPhone)
"'The cold, hard truth' is that Xbox 360 has the best games - and industry reviewers and consumers agree."
Sorry, but that is one of the stupidest comment I have ever heard, and the marketing director comes off as a retard as do the people who agree with his comment.
Why?
A die hard fan of Mario is NOT going to think the 360 has the best games.
A die hard Zelda fan is NOT going to think the 360 has the best games.
A di...
But you're calling out someone for being a "fanboy" but in a few posts up you mention "Sony Fanboys" and not Microsoft fanboys ??!!!
Pot.....Kettle.......Black.
Ring a bell?
I remember the day I bought Gran Turismo 3 (for £70 quid!!! Japanese import) It was like an event in itself. When I saw those graphics on my tv screen, that was it. I played that game to death. Completed 98% of it endurance races and all.......with my joypad.
Here's the thing...
After completing that game, I thought I would not buy a Gran Turismo game again since I felt extremely burnt out from GT3. It just got boring. I got GT4 as a present from a girlfriend an...
errrr.....I'm STILL waiting for:
Bowling
Super Puzzle Fighter 2 (been waiting an AGE for this!)
Pain
.....Sony? I know you can hear me......
I have to agree with you, Getbackers was brilliant. I'm still pissed that it ended prematurely just when things were getting exciting.
I think the theme: "Awakening and Rage" in GetBackers is still until this day, one of the best anime themes I've heard!
oh man....
Disgaea: Hour of Darkness = 380 something hours!
FFXI Online: 1 Year and a few months!
Tekken Online: Can't...put.....bloody....game ....down!!!!
Good 'ole EA......
Not sure about the Tekken movie but.....
Luke Goss surprised me as Blade's nemesis in Blade 2, he was VERY good!
I just think they should leave this game alone....
I played Lair and clocked it twice on both difficulties. Three of my friends have done the same, damn even my 12 year old cousin clocked it as well with no problems.
So my question is : are we just gaming gods, or are the people who complain about the controls just crap at playing or are they just not playing it right?
I don't have any stocks with Factor 5, and I don't know the developers personally so I have nothing to gain by saying these things. To be honest I cou...
