Valkyria Chronicles is brilliant! Stuck on Ch7 at the moment.
For some reason, the womans voice doing the review, really gets on my nerves.
English soundtrack...which is REALLY odd to me as I always favor the Japanese soundtrack when I have the option. But the English one is pretty well done this time.

Here's the thing....
I really don't understand what people are complaining about. Of COURSE it's going to take a longer time to come out than the NXE. NXE is an (good and much needed) interface change, Home is a hell of a lot more. That's like saying "Eternal Sonata got announced before PacMan Championship, but PacMan came out first!" The scope of what they are doing seems to be humongous and it is not just an new "interface".

Totally agree with you. There are some brilliantly made levels like the Ico one, Azure Palace, Mega Mans Escape, the Guitar Hero one and World Of Color (Put that back up MM!) Of course there are an awful lot of "trophy levels" which suck.

This actually doesn't seem "logical" at all. If they wanted more people to buy their game, you'd think they would make it multi-platform as you'd get, I don't know.....MORE SALES lol. Well, whatever, they've made their choice and I've made mine. SE wants to go the western route only.......by thinking of just selling to the US? It's funny but I hope they know all of Europe and Australia come under that umbrella and to get sales there you really need to appeal to at least both the PS3...

The thing I like about this argument is that both games are multiplatform so no accusations of "console fanboyism"
For me, SR2 DESTROYS GTA 4 as I finished GTA 4 after 3 weeks and was really bored. SR2 on the other hand is bloody fun and I'm still playing it even after I've finished it! Allowing to bring in your created character into someone else's city is brilliant!!
GTA4 got traded in but I'll keep SR2 forever.

I don't buy games just for graphics, it needs to be fun. In addition people forget that GTA 4 had bugs, glitches and even game lock-ups as well.
Saints Row 2 vs GTA 4 is the perfect description of gameplay over graphics.

Just curious, so you think Gran Turismo could be done on the Wii? or Metal Gear? or even Little Big Planet with it's online features and physics intact?
None of these games are ultraviolent, and I enjoy them.
