No offence man, but I'm looking at my PS2 collection right now, and apart from my rpg's/srpgs, I don't see ANY game that took me 25 hours to complete a single player campaign and I have a pretty big collection!

When the 360 launched in the UK, I was still having fun with my PS2 and didn't feel the need to get another console just yet. A few months later, I witnessed Fight Night Round 3 and thought "I might have to get a 360 now as that looked amazing" until one of my friends told me I needed to pay to play online games with my friends....something I've been doing on my PC for free, so I said "Screw that" and waited.

Fair point I guess. (Split-screen co-op doesn't really bother me as I know only one friend of mine that is really any good at fps's and we don't always get time to meet up)
If you really want it split-screen co-op, there are admittedly few games to facilitate your needs, but that's probably because of the technical issues involved trying to make a fast paced game stay at a decent frame rate and still look good Split-screen. Games that make these allowances to provide co-op ALWAY...

Though I may not agree that Linux will "crush" Windows as it's not advertised to "Joe public" enough and most people are too used to Windows, I will say that I stopped using windows XP last April and made the jump to Ubuntu......and there is NO WAY I'm going back to paying for another Windows OS anymore!

I absolutely agree with you. Japan style works for the Japanese, American style works for Americans and Europe gets to choose between the two :) Being from the UK, I prefer choice of both. If the gaming world starts turning into a big burly man shoot fest (read something into that if you will :)) I'll go back to the old consoles thank you very much.

This is the EXACT reason you shouldn't throw out 10/10 like it was nothing. You get people complaining when a game in the same genre which beats the previous game which came out a year ago in every respect gets a lower score.......and a 9/10 is a bloody good score!
How the hell does a game get 10/10 when it has glitches in the single player (console freezing bugs in some cases) mode and the multi-player mode and the previous iterat...
Well I've never bought (or ever will) buy a collectors edition for a game. I see it as a waste of money personally. If I want to see a behind the scenes look at the game, there's usually something on the devs website or around the web. They'll probably release a documentary free on the Playstation blog or the PSN anyway.

Anyway, more remote play functionality would be great as I use it everyday for PlayTV which is fantastic. The idea about Sony releasing a PSone to PSP ripper would be amazing....but seems highly unlikely.
