Actually, I've seen two similar stories in The Metro while I was on the train this morning and now it seems, the Evening Standard. Not sure whats going on.
Theses pricks make me laugh! Two individuals who knew exactly what they were doing, hacked their PS3's and then decided to put out the software out for the public just to get some 'nerd attention' and now this group wants to 'defend' these guys 'freedoms'??? What about the millions of users they have affected/going to affect?
They better bloody stay anonymous, because if this affects my limited GT5 online playing time or Killzone 3, and I find ou...
lol
You are the retard! They can hack or they want, but to hack because they want to 'get back' at a company whose trying to protect it's assets by going after the pricks who are trying to hack their stuff in the first place, need to get a life! GTFO
Total idiots! Haven't they got anything else better to do? Get a bloody job, go out with your friends or whatever but stop wasting your and everyone's time!
Whatever they plan to do in the future better not affect me tossers!
If you know any of these pricks, please put up their personal details up on the web :-)
Well, I've been happily enjoying Killzone 3 but Iv'e got two of my friends who were waiting to see how Crysis 2 turned out, as they only have time to play the multiplayer in either Killzone 3 or Crysis 2 which is fair enough.
Guess I'll just send them this link now :-)
You want to stop the strict DRM being imposed on everyones games? Blame the pirates! Pirates were there before the DRM crap, not the other way round as some idiotic people would have you believe...
If that's true, I'm not surprised. The PSP got pirated to hell to the point that some 3rd party developers stopped making games for it. They had to do something to stop it I guess. You can thank people like Geohot for the stupid hoops we have to jump through these days
@thats_just_prime
Actually, there's quite a few 3rd party titles (1 from Square Enix themselves) that have stayed exclusive to 1 console:
Blue Dragon
Last Remnant
Lost Odyssey
Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm
Splinter Cell Conviction
I loved this series!! Hayato's da man!
Lol couldn't explain it better myself
Hmm.., I wonder. That device has more features than my phone (HTC HD 2) and when that came out, I paid £499 offline for it.....hell, with 3g you may be able to use it as a phone lol Put Skype on it and you have!
So, since the media loves comparing the games of the psp franchise to games of t he IPhone, my question is:
How much was the IPhone 4 when bought offline when it came out?
True words. If I hear Sony has to drop the NGP trophy support or other features because of these or any other hacker pricks, I will personally hunt them down.
Forget Day 1...HOUR 1 lol. Sony has put every control method under the sun in this device! I have to admit though, as someone who hated the PSPGO when it came out, I now own one and I love how small and light it is. Putting that little device out of my shirt pocket when beginning my commutes to and from work is a joy and not having that same portability with the NGP will be a little disappointing.
Man, those bugs and glitches are horrendous! Reminds me of another game that my friend lent me, what was it again?....oh yeah, Fallout 3. Hold on a sec, didn't IGN give that buggy mess a 9 plus?!!
Smug git! That picture posted of him just makes me want to knock his teeth out.
Funny, I also remember the tons of bloody firmware patches I had to download for my PSP because I like to buy a product and pay for the games for it. I also remember the many developers that came out and publicly said they will stop making PSP games because piracy was eating into the profits and I also remember hearing that Sony wouldn't put trophies in the psp because of how it could easily be hacked and render it useless.
Here's an idea hackers, if a company releas...
Tell that to all legitimate pc gamers who have to suffer ridiculous DRM due to companies trying to protect themselves, because hackers are creating cracks for games so you can download them without paying
Just curious, but does anyone know what country George Hotz aka Geohot lives? :-)
lol couldn't agree with you more man...
