Can't...stop...playing...t his...game!
I've played this game since the day it came out..technically it was actually one day before it came out thanks to my pre-order from Game :-)
It's EASILY my game of the year as it's stopped me from buying many, many games I wanted to get this year like Red Dead and Vanquish. My G25 Wheel and tallboy surround sound speakers have been waiting for this game for 2 years and I'm now in drivers heaven!
I can't believe an idiot would go out of his way and waste his time to make everybody dislike GT5!! Shit, I hope he's getting paid by MS or Turn 10 or it just makes him look retarded!
Man, I'm thankful the internet wasn't as rampant during the Nintendo vs Sega 16bit years, who knows what fanboy faked video nonsense I would have had to put up with...
Well, I hope he's wrong. I hate playing games on touch screen devices! I need physical buttons or no go!
As long as they put Raven in, I'm happy.
To everybody complaining, go back and play the old Sonics or better yet, watch this: http://www.gametrailers.com...
A guy that finally speaks sense! Bubbles!!!!
I disagreed with you and I'll explain why: I'm sick of hearing about these so called Sonic fans complaining that Sonic is always meant to be fast! I've played every Sonic game (apart from the ones on Wii) and I can tell you, all of you guys are wrong! Sonic has ALWAYS been about platforming first, speed second! Don't believe me? Go play Sonic 1 or Sonic CD right now and see if I'm wrong. Sonic 2 was the fastest though even that had slow levels where you had to take yo...
Damn, I need to hit the gym more! lol
I've got the original Hot Pursuit 2 and loved it...at the time. The new hot pursuit looks ok, but I don't know that I'd want to pay full price for it. My favourite arcade race for me is Midnight Club: Los Angeles and I can race against the law in that...in a huge city...
with changing weather and day and night cycles...
with other traffic...
in a lot more cars...
which I can customise to insane proportions... ...
The funny thing is, you don't even have to be lvl 40 to see the impressive damage. Last night I was playing B Spec mode and my driver is lvl 5. He got real aggressive on the London track and made a lot of mistakes messing up my ride and the damage was very good! You could see some crumple on the left hand side of the front bumper and scratches to the paintwork on the side. I was impressed at the damage...but then got pissed at my driver! Should be an option to pimp-slap him after the r...
Because some people wouldn't get past the first couple of races without having to fork out credits to repair the damage and credits are in short supply at the beginning.
I sort of get where you're coming from, however it actually makes sense. Why would you want damage when all you want to do is speed round tracks for the fun of it? If they put damage in the vehicles in arcade mode, one wrong move and your car doesn't steer properly or even work! Case in point, there's an article floating about from a website complaining that his repair bills for crashing his car when he unlocked were too high....lol welcome to the 'real' world pal.
They better have the option for Japanese voice overs or no buy! I can't play with those hideous voice actors they put in these games! Takes me out of the experience.
hahaha good! Let the real men (and women) who enjoy sims, drive trying to avoid cars.
Everyone else who is complaining about this: go pick up Destruction Derby and have a coke and a smile!
Daaamn! I feel for your friend!
Holy shit....wtf have you done to my eyes and ears Cloudberry??!!!
Vanilla Ice...all is forgiven...
Bubbles for talking sense!
@JBlaze yes, we should all listen to review sites because if they score a game down it MUST be crap:
I should throwaway my Ratchet & Clank games because a web site said 'It had too much variety'
I shouldn't have sold GTA4 because practically every site gave it a 10 though I got bored stiff, thought San Andreas was MUCH better and I thought Saints Row 2 was much more fun.
I should go and buy Fallout 3 as it got 9's, even th...
Spoken like a true gamer! Bubbles :-)
Let me guess, are you waiting for a sports truck? :-)
