Yea, reviewers trash some of our games and we don't attack the reviewers in droves.
Most of that 120 billion comes from consoles as consoles spend more per game than PC.
It's been 3 or 4 gens since devs stopped prioritizing frame rate. Continuing to bring it up console articles is stupid.
Just because a car part in your honda (console) can also fit in a ferrari (PC) doesn't make the ferrari more affordable or easier to maintain. So continuing to bring up PC when that's not what most people play on; let alone on console graphics settings, is pointless.
I didn't say they won. I said they were neck and neck. Literally a couple thousand units apart.
"Oh god no, I'd rather spend that 600 on a steering wheel for Gtsport."
Then please explain to me what you're doing in an article of a product you see no value in.
Actually they didn't. Last year, Xbox One won a couple of months during the holiday season. But still didn't outsell the PS4 overall.
Their sales are neck and neck every holiday season yet I get downvoted to oblivion for saying so.
@Erik7357
Please send me the link to this wonderous PC that can do what Xbox One X can for $500.
PS4 is not outselling Xbox 2:1 this holiday. It hasn't done it any year this gen. Why would this year be different?
Crash has been on the original Xbox and the 360.
Is it still being sold in stores? Check your local electronics store for the answer.
That's why I said "at some point" we will need ray tracing to push graphics even further.
Ray tracing is what you see in Pixar movies. We can't do that in game yet. So yea we do need it in order to push graphics forward at some point.
Yet gaming doesn't move forward without consoles doing so first.
I live in a rural area and have 35 mb/s download speed. Highest speed here is 300 mb/s. So no.
Blame digital. As the years pass, physical will become a lot less prominent.
I thought that a scaled down version of ray tracing and god rays would be available by next gen. These two assets are the next level of graphics in games.
You might not frequent N4G, but let me brief you. There's constant talk about Xbox not having games. So you giving a "what if" situation of it being multiplat may be a slap in the face of Xbox gamers. It's kinda like saying Xbox can't have good games and any good games that do come to the platform should go to others. While other platforms get to keep theirs.
They aren't dying. Are they the most popular games? No. But they are most definitely not dying.
