From the hardware specs in all three it could easily be a short gen all round compared to last gen, hopefully nvidia gets some love next time around.
No more problems than playing an mmo and people have been doing that for almost 20 years, you can hate on it all you want because its not on your console of choice but at the end of the day its proven technology thats been around for years.
Gaming as a whole is at a good point, it didn't need saving but the new consoles have given that market a nice boost considering the length of the last gen.
More remakes like monkey island, castle of illusion etc too many possibilities to list.
Problem is we are going to see lots of incompatible vr devices it's already begun first Sony and now Samsung have revealed a vr headset to be launched by years end, it's gonna be a bloodbath. This isn't a two horse race, will vr survive, only time will tell.
This seems all to be based on the oculus rift hype then their own research, it's a huge gamble putting a vr headset into the living room environment as it's a very different environment to the pcs "bedroom" type location. Could go either way really, but when people object to wearing sunglasses for 3d in that environment how are they going to react to putting that thing on? Never mind having people walking around looking at you while you do your thing in virtual space, it wo...
Only shame is they went with Sata 2 instead of sata 3 connection.
Good to see this gen kicking of with a good mmo game, its a genre i love but which has been under used in past console gens. Consoles are now at a point where more pc traditional mmos should make the cross over.
With TLOU its more like a staggered release than a remake or remastering same goes for GTA 5 and tombraider, only one that i would consider true remake/remastering is the halo collection at this point and maybe the first metro. Its obvious that TLOU, tomb raider and GTA5 were always intended to be released on the next gen, that does not scream remake or remastering to me, like i said its more of a staggered launch but they trying to make it sound more than what it is through PR lingo.
More like staggared release than remake, i am expecting this and it is why i havent bought it on old gen yet.
I prefer older games to be remade and remastered, halo master chief collection is a great example of it done right. I would have preferred them to do a remastered unchartered collection building up to unchartered 4 than TLOU, similarly it would have been great to have a remastering of the past gta games. "Remastering" a newer game though is always going to be the quicker and cheaper option for a quick second cash grab.

If sony had the finances to put the necessary infrastructure in place it might have been very different, but they don't so it worked out good for the shops that sell used games. Well at least for now.
Disappointing but with the move away from online drm this was always on the cards as it would be much harder to keep the system secure. The two free kits is obviously the easier option at this point for them and anyone serious about xbox development can easily get hold of them.
If you have a jailbroken device you can use a program called controller 4 all, works great but would love to have a mount like this for the iPad Air if my wrists could support it though that is another question.
Economics 101, high price at first for the rich and desperate to pay for the startup costs then lower the price as required to keep it selling.
