Good games coming out over the next year, some very good games already released and its at a decent price point.
Only reason not to buy it is if you are a hardcore dedicated fanatic to another console maker.
looking forward to the reveal.
High res textures and improved lighting, pretty much what I would expect from the new gen version of a cross gen game.
Great graphics but the gameplay brings it down, I would probably stick it just above watchdogs as the powers eye candy was more impressive than the visual effects of hacking and the character was less boring.
You are paying for a high res texture pack mostly so 50gb is what I would expect, if it was lower then the textures would need compressing and would start to look more and more like the ps3 version.
I don't mind this game being released but I really hate them trying to force it into the remastered category, it tarnishes the image of real remastered games. Just call it ultimate edition or something.
These machines are not going to age very well this gen, I expect it to be much shorter this time around. In 5 years time we might even have mobile devices that can surpass these, Apple, Samsung and co have a great opening over the next 7 years.
aye like those, much more comfortable than propping up the tablet and playing with a standard gamepad.
The only thing I wish is that it had a controller clamp that it could fit into making it similar to the wii u gamepad.
The performance distance between the two is very close, ms don't have to turn the equivelant of a tractor into a formula 1 race car they just need to add an air freshner to that tractor to catch up with the competition. The formula 1 car is the PC, these machines cannot compete with a high end one, best they can do is add go faster stripes to the tractor and hope no one notices.
If anything it shows that xbox 360 owners are waiting before making the jump to next gen, ps3 users are upgrading much quicker.
If anything wiis casual gamer audience is now playing angry birds, etc on android and ios devices, sony isn't the world.
N4g manipulates their trending stories by boosting them or sinking them depending on if they are pro Sony or not, that is all you need to know about n4g.
A partnership with oculus is the way I see Microsoft going for vr, especially with their new focus.
The thing that might change is what we consider to be a games console, they could be very different to what we have and expect today.
The console version will come, best thing they did was to delay it so that it could get worked on more and by releasing it on pc they are able to get good feedback on whats working and whats not.
I am holding off until the actual release, that way i can go through it non stop without a painfully long gap in between and also won't have my progress reset.
It should be considered just like any other cross gen game, because that is what it ultimately is if you get rid of the PR remastered jargon, it just had a bit longer of a staggered release.
With the shift in architecture we might see yearly refreshes similar to the mobile market sooner rather than later, if not by the middle of this gen then probably next gen.
Many of the popular games today have old PC games to thank, without them gaming today would be very different.
But what would you download them on if you sold all your stuff. When you get back the games you have now would be old and cheap to rebuy, if you had physical copies you could have sold them and then bought them again later on and made a nice profit.
