I guess we will know in ten years or so if cutting this deep will have been good or bad for them.
Same, I am also hoping that the worlds have a lot of diversity and we don't just end up with millions of worlds that all look very similar. We also don't know much about the actual gameplay beyond wondering around and upgrading stuff.
I never played any halo game as when halo one came out on xbox all those years ago I was a big pc gamer who wouldn't play a fps with a controller, after that I never could get into the halo franchise. Now I get to play the whole campaign from 1-4 and it works and looks great, mp is just the icing on the cake for me so soon after launch.
when I first saw it I thought it looked good, then I played it and it was very good, will be nice to get it on the new box especially since I get it free.
Good price and good exclusives make it a decent console to pick up when you got some spare cash floating around even if you already have a ps4 or X1.
Every year games will look better than the year before as they find new ways of optimising stuff.
Last gen consoles started with good hardware, PCs had a hard time doing what those console could do at the start and took a while to catch up. This gen a good pc can do what these consoles can do, a great pc can do even more. So yeah last gen started much better in that regard.
@tomshoe and next year the performance gap will widen still as this console hardware stays the same while other technology advances. That's just how it is.
@dirk: I wouldn't class infamous as a great game, it got too boring after a while, you might think it's a great game and that's up to you and depends I guess on what you played so far. Dead rising isn't a good game either but I found it fun, you didn't find this game fun? Or you never played it and just saying what you read?
The article is about ps4 better than X1 which is why i slanted my comment the way it is, we also on n4g so ps4 doesn't need def...
Main lineup on ps4 to me is Killzone, LBP 3, Driveclub, Infamous and TLOU remastered. I already played TLOU last gen, I got infamous and it was ok mainly the graphics made it nice and I have LBP 3 but waiting until holidays to play it maybe the bugs in it will be fixed by then also. I am not a big racing fan especially of track racing so just waiting for PS+ version of Driveclub. Killzone was good.
The Xbox lineup for a new player I really like, Deadrising was fun, Ryse w...
good they are getting little bits fixed before they go for their holiday break from monthly updates, this will probably be the longest time we gone without something being updated or added.
I have been playing gta v for quite a few hours now as my copy of dragon age didn't arrive in the post today :( and I got bored so got this on digital download. All I can say is wow, I really thought this game could not get massively better from the last gen but it's just incredible what they have done. This blows watchdog out of the water and then takes a huge dump on it.
It never ends, someone always finds some difference between the current gen of systems to go on and on and on about, to some that's more important than the games.
Give me a decent game, that's all I want.
Random article that seems to be a year old? Or am I missing something?
Seemed interesting until the guy starts talking about shipping it at 720p and 900p with Microsoft adding pressure for the ps4 to also be 720p, at that point to me this person just sounds full of crap and anything before or after I will take with a huge grain of salt.
Personally I believe underground is coming sometime, it's just too much of an opportunity for them to pass on it.
Lego games usually drop in value quick as they release so many of them so it's not that good of a bundle.
Edit: if you get another bundle you could probably pick up the previous 3 Lego games for same price as one game and then get this one later. That's what I would do anyways ;)
There have been some great releases, while it might not be the greatest year for games it's been far from disappointing.
Lol got to love how out of all the articles about the new patch being released this is the one that gets approved, N4G. Matchmaking is working great for me now takes a few mins at most, as it winds its way out to everyone that should improve even more.
Edit: got to love the disagrees from people who don't even own a X1, stay classy Sony fanboys.
X1 has a tv input, digital TV guide, snap, plex app and Mkv support. Ps4 cannot do a lot of those things ever and the others are not going to happen anytime soon because Sony don't do updates very fast and those are not small additions.
While it sucks hard if you just want to jump straight into multiplayer from the second you get the game, if you are like me however and are playing through the single player game first it will probably be fixed long before you actually finish halo 1-4 campaign.
I am having a great time with this game, the four games worth of campaigns is simply amazing and I am still trying to finish it. The last patch has made a big difference to connecting to multiplayer games for me also, but like I said I am still playing through the campaigns and the multiplayer to me is just the icing on the cake. Great set of games, they really did and continue to do an amazing job with it.
MCC isn't driveclub no matter how much the Sony faithful try to...
