Would be very cool, it has a lot of potential.
Sweet
This is just an update of the original, maybe state of decay 2 will have multiplayer.
Maybe at end of this gen these consoles will be transformed into game streaming machines using something like psnow to play the next gen of games alongside the more traditional next gen of console. I dont see any reason why in 8 years time that wont be a real possibility, you only have to look back at the last 8 years to see how far technology can advance in that time.
I don't see any reason why the xbox and ps4 won't be able to do 4k movies as both have hdmi 1.4 and the hardware processing power would be more than enougth.
Cannot wait to get my hands on this game, loved the last one.
It's out on xbox one now also
@disagree if you don't believe me you can find the posts on dualshockers, unsurprisingly they were posting those 4k pic articles almost every day before release.
Driveclub did the same before release by showing off 4k resolution pictures from their development PCs so I don't see the problem with this. Only difference is that unlike those prerelease driveclub pictures some people will actually be able to play the game looking like this.
I think we can be quite certain that it will be coming to xbox at some point, the new owners will want to make maximum profit so makes no sense anymore to leave any of their IPs as a console exclusive. Microsoft have probably already opened up a dialog with them by now.
they must have paid Sony a ton of cash to get literally everything, will be interesting to see how this pans out over the long term and to see if Sony will use this money to establish a new mmo focused company or if it will all go to clearing some of their debt.
Hololens could easily be used to compliment the traditional tv setup by extending elements of the game beyond the tv screen. If it's snowing in your game then you get snow appearing to fall and gather on the objects in your room for example or if it's thunder and lightning then you can look up and you have a cloud above you with rain drops and lightning appearing to surround you. If you go under water in a game you could have some water effect and sealift moving around you, possibi...
Xbox one doesn't have any real mmorpgs apart from the upcoming eso so this will fill that gap.
I can only say from experience from the xbox one version but if both are same the game technically is not bad, I have only been hit with a few bugs and framerate dips. In terms of story and gameplay it is ok but is no where near as good as last years black flag.
You don't have to wait.
Wow that is really surprising news i would never have imagined sony selling off SOE. I guess that means we could potentially see the new everquest landing on the Xbox at some point along with Planetside, DCUO and H1Z1. Huge news, obviously sonys financial problems are now hitting their gaming ambitions.
@Eonjay they are changing the name to Daybreak Game Company
Too much stuff coming out this year.
Especially when it comes to street fighter, it's not street fighter if we don't end up with a super ultra turbo edition.
Wonderboy in monsterland was first game I had on my sega master system and was a great game, wonderboy 3 was even better. Monster boy has some big shoes to fill, hopefully it will be just as great.
They will easily make enougth money from the version to cover the cost, xbox 360 has a huge user base. Great to see the xbox 360 getting this level of support, last year forza and this year tombraider, unlike Sony who didn't give the PS3 driveclub or the upcoming uncharted. Is that why you are posting these negative comments about giving up support for last gen? You just Super salty.
