If you change how the Internet works then yes, but that is unlikely to happen so no. All a company can do is mitigate it by having a large amounts of redundancy.
You can think whatever but the indie developers themselves have said Sony approached them with money so meh, whatever you want to believe I guess. But you have to look at it realistically, for example you really think that Sony didn't pay for no man sky, and it's only on ps4 because of this microsoft policy?
Quite a few games have released now after being on ps4 first once their exclusive timed deal finished so that argument is really looking weaker and weaker every ...
Sonys current indie policy involves bags of cash so no surprise they like it. Never been a better time to be an indie developer they are raking in the cash.
If we never had tomb raider we would never have had uncharted
Edit: Don't know how anyone can disagree with that statement tbh, guess people here are too young to know where this genre started.
Valve have to do something if they want steam os to have any chance of success, microsoft made a lot of good moves with windows 10 and topped it off by giving it free to a large number of people with the free upgrade.
Will be getting it digital, with this type of games I usually end up playing shorter sessions and In between other games so I don't want to have to keep switching out the disc.
Wait single player games are dead?
Sony were fast with their moves to secure the indie games, the policy has very little to do with it as we have already seen games come to the xbox after the timed deal with Sony ended. So many indie developers have already said that Sony approached them and offered them incentives to bring their stuff to ps4 which they couldn't turn down.
More and more people worldwide are getting hold of android and iOS devices so I don't see it slowing down for a while.
Weapons and more, where are you. Just a list of jobs.
Looks interesting, cities xl was quite good will see what the reviews have to say.
Cannot wait to get my hands on this, they have done a great job rebooting tomb raider.
In previous console gens I would have agreed but this gen is a lot more online capable. I still think it's odd timing and a weird decision considering the fact that for first time we were starting to see a lot more SOE stuff already on and on its way to console, especially considering Everquest next and the rave comments it had got.
If you count up the amount of stuff from SOE on or coming to ps4 that's not a small amount, now those won't be exclusive so it's...
So glad that telltale have brought this genre back from the dead.
Why a mid range PC? If you are a regular gamer then over the course of a console gen you will spend more money on a console than if you went out now and bought a high end pc and used it over the same period. When you get a console its like getting a loan with each game charging you 40% more than the pc equivalent, with pc you pay straight up.
The rate at which they can churn out these Lego games is incredible.
I played the game for a bit yesterday but there was so much rubberbanding going on it wasn't an overly enjoyable experience. This was connecting to EU servers with full bars for strength. I also hate how small the font in this game is, horrible when games do that its ok for pc but on console I have to get up too read it.
I tried eating a stick of butter once and it wasn't all that delicious.
I loved my mega drive for many years until someone stole it, great machine.
Imagine you are throwing a party and invite 20 people with an invitation card, you open your front door and there are 5000 people waiting out there. You then have to go through all those people, ask for their card and check it. you get half way through and then another 10000 people show up with fake cards. Your party is ruined.
