My PS+ subscription ends in a few months. If Sony doesn't start offering better games for the PS4, no way in hell I'm renewing it. Don't care for online, I mostly play single player games. If I feel the need to play multiplayer, I have the PC for that.
Lately I found Gold's X1's games offerings more interesting then PS+ PS4 games offerings.
Competition is good.
I don't agree with none of PS Now's options... and yes I did read the article. It's defending one of the options, so they are defending one option too many.
LOL.
I guess from now on we will see a lot of these BS articles trying to defend PS Now's pricing.
Got to love these articles that try to convince people that PS Now's pricing is a wonderful deal. I'm sure they will convince some fools out there with a lot of money to spare. Fanboys will excuse anything.
The only way that I would even consider touching PS Now is if it was free access with PS+.
EDIT:
@Brien
The problem is that I only have a PS4, so I only get 2 games every month, and until now, PS4 offerings have been crap. Sony cou...
"Sony Ranks Gamescom As High As E3, No Plans To Change PS4's Sub Account Functionality"
And that's why Sony sells way more consoles in Europe then Microsoft or Nintendo.
Microsoft and Nintendo completely ignore Europe.
TLOU is a very good game... but way overhyped by the gaming media and fanboys. Well, that's my opinion, and it's the one that counts.
Microsoft is going to have a very hard time recovering the Xbox One. All the work they had with the X360 went down the drain in the first few months after announcing the X1. Unless Microsoft does something drastic, I don't think the X1 will have 1/2 the sales of the PS4 at the end of this console generation.
If Microsoft were smart they would finance 100% of a few games that a lot of people are interested, like Shenmue 3, Lost Odyssey 2, Beyond Good and Evil 2, etc... the...
"Sony Games Revenue Up Almost 100% Year Over Year"
Not bad for Sony.
'Investment on PSN Coming due to "Huge" Numbers'
Start by improving PS4 PS+ offerings. Until now it's been crap.
It's good for gaming that Sony's and Microsoft's gaming divisions posted profits. Too bad about Nintendo's gaming division.
Unfortunately Japan gave up on home consoles. They mostly purchase handheld gaming devices.
With the 50€ PS+ yearly costs, you can go a long way in purchasing games on Steam sales... and the games on Steam are yours, forever, not rented. One other thing, on Steam you CHOOSE the games you want to purchase. Most of the games "offered" with PS+ I won't ever touch.
Unfortunately Guerrilla Games are like Crytek's games, good to look at but not that great. I hope their open world RPG game is better then their FPS's.
EDIT:
@mezati99
Are you telling me that you consider their Killzone games for PS2, PS3 and Vita great?
You got to be kidding me.
EA's platform Origin has other games besides EA's.
If EA access is a success, maybe other developers could use it. It doesn't necessarily have to be exclusive to EA games.
As for it becoming bigger them Steam... I doubt that.
EA Access doesn't represent good value, but PS Now does?
Unless PS Now is offered free with PS+ (witch I highly doubt), it's a no go for me. Paying a high price to play last gen games, no thanks.
As for EA Access, I'm sceptical...
I suspect EA are pretty pissed at Sony for not supporting the online DRM that was originally planed for the X1. Microsoft was already on board, but Sony screwed their plans by going the other way. I've seen quite a lot of support lately from EA to the X1... Titanfall, FIFA exclusive deals, time exclusive games, etc... and now this EA Access subscription service.
EA don't seem happy with Sony.
Oh boy, another crap port for the PC incoming...
Well.... it's about time someone "offers" AA games with their online service for the new consoles. Let's see if Sony follows.
Just a few question to X1 owners. I don't have a X1 (releases in September), but if I pay for XBLA Gold now, am I entitled to accumulate games on my account so that when I purchase my X1, have a few games? Is it necessary to activate the games (offered with XBLA Gold) on the console? Are those games valid for a European XBLA Gold ...
I'm hyped for this game. Remedy's Alan Wake and Max Payne's were great, so I expect great things for Quantum Break.
