The review was informative, but why are we talking about Titanfall in the Infamous review?
Frame rate drops are one thing, but when a game doesn't have all of the modes it SHOULD have because they wanted to get it out the door faster, that's a problem.
There should be a lot more gaming modes. Now I see why there's no single player. Because there are just the bare bones in terms of multiplayer.
Push games back until they are finished. Killer Instinct wasn't finished. Neither was this.
It makes sense that Titanfall is talked about more. It's out. People will be talking about it. Asking questions. etc.
Infamous Second Son isn't out yet. People can't get on and say things like "can you help me with this part?"
Nearly every game has glitches. While I agree with you that this sucks, nearly every single game these days gets released with the expectation that a patch will fix any bugs they don't find.
Also, the video doesn't address the fact that you can just reload the last save (or if reloading the last save doesn't work).
I played through Thief on the PS4 without any issues.
I don't pay for content that should be in the game, but isn't, even if there's a free patch for the update. I pay for a finished game.
Finish the game before releasing it. Feels like Killer Instinct all over again. Sigh...
When people really want something to succeed (or fail), logic goes out the window.
I don't understand. If you can't judge a game by "what you want in a game" then how will you judge it?
By your logic, you can say "this game was clearly defined has having poor controls, so why are people bashing it because we can't control the character well?"
EDIT: And by saying "this game has poor controls" I am not speaking about Titanfall. I haven't played it yet but plan to pick it up this weekend. I just m...
FF6?
Second screen and remote play are two different things. Second screen is when you can display more info on the Vita, similar to, say, the bottom screen on the 3DS.
Remote play lets you play your PS4 games off-tv. Some people (including IGN's Greg Miller) have been able to play their games over a wifi network and have them work seamlessly, even out of their homes. So yeah, playing your PS4 when you're not even home (booting it with the Vita, playing whatever game is in...
Also, I plan to get Titan Fall. Mainly because there's not much out there and I want to experience as much "next gen" as possible. However, if this game were 2 years or more into the Xbox One's cycle, I'd probably ignore it, honestly.
PowerVR - my N4G name is the same as my Xbox360/One name. Look me up (LegionSoup). I have Forza, Dead Rising 3, Killer Instinct, and Ryse.
In terms of Forza, what is there is excellent. The graphics, gameplay, etc. However, what is missing is weird. It has hundreds of fewer cars than the last Forza (on last gen). When I buy a new console, I don't expect steps backward like that for a big name title. It has fewer tracks. It has a weird economy that is constantly reminding...
Not that it matters, but I have both next gen systems, and this is pretty disappointing for me.
Why? Because Titanfall is online only. How is a game that is budgeted to do only one thing not doing it with more options? I don't care if we don't have 32 vs 32, but 6 vs 6 just seems really low. Flex the console. Flex the maps. Do something great. I'm tired of games being rushed out an unfinished (Forza and Killer Instinct).
If you are forgoing the s...
If anything these screens illustrate how great this looked on the Vita.
They are iffy. The hardest one for me is turning the Xbox on. After that, I can get most of the things to work in 1 or 2 tries. Either way, a controller is almost always the better option.
Are they also removing the Origins games? Those are Marvel fighting games too.
The Pulse headset works with the PS4. Just plug it in to the bottom of the controller and then go to the sound settings. The sound even comes out in surround sound in the headset. And you don't even have to turn on the headset's power. It doesn't give the bass feedback, but it does do everything else (surround sound play, and voice chat).
My biggest issues right now are that some games still crash (Knack, Battlefield), and there is an echo during the voice chat se...
What if I haven't played a wrestling game in years? The last one I played was about 5 or 6 years ago. Will this game really be a 6/10 for me, who loved wrestling as a kid and who wants to try the latest video game of it?
Low score for hit-bait. Podunk sites trying to make a name...
She reminds me of a video game version of Jenna Marbles.
Hay - you could say that about any game.
This just goes back to my theory that games should be judged on what is there...not what YOU want to be there.
For my money, I loved this Metal Gear game. There were a couple times I found myself not breathing because the moment (which was freely formed, and not scripted) was so tense.
