Remember that game Bulletstorm? For me, it was about as good as that. Very stylish, and very fun, but ultimately, it was flash over substance.
I can see Imalwaysright's argument here.
You are basically controlling a character with the move set from a fighting game, like Tekken or Virtua Fighter, and fighting against enemies. It's basically the deepest and cleanest fighting engine in a non-1 vs 1 fighting game.
I also believe that's why it gets such great reviews. Because the combat is incredibly satisfying.
Just a head's up - this is only for Steam. It's not for any of the console versions, in case anyone is wondering.
Good tips. I gotta admit - often times N4G links to sites that don't really give great tips. This site was a solid one, well written, etc.
It's a solid, well built game, but it's very simple. Not saying a simple game can't get great scores, but I think people expect more out of action platformers. I really enjoyed the game, but I can see how reviewers would give it lower scores.
I also thought Thief was a solid game. Has one of the scariest levels in a non-scary game I've ever seen. The controls and action were really tight as well.
How is this a guide? The actual game tells you these EXACT SAME THINGS in the menu when looking at each of these weapons.
How was this approved?
It would be like approving an article that said "guide to starting a game...press start."
Last year, I bought my Xbone art $500.
Now, you can get the Xbone for $350.
I know that $100 of that is the Kinect, but really, the Kinect is crap. It's one of the most useless things I've ever used as a gamer. It's good for dancing games. But you know what's better than dancing games? Actually going out and dancing.
I think that people are just going back and completing the games. Maybe because the save carries over.
Those people probably heard all of the bad things about DA2, but when they finally played it, they were like "this really isn't as bad as people made it out to be."
I'd think that's the more logical conclusion than "people who were silent before are now coming out to defend it."
Not so sure I agree with that. Bound by Flames wasn't made by Bioware. That pedigree alone makes Dragon Age II (no matter what it's called) stand out.
I don't watch wrestling anymore, but I LOVED it as a kid. As a video game, it's even better because the matches are "real." And these games are the closest thing I will ever get to seeing my old-school heroes (Macho Man, Hogan, Steamboat, Rock, Tatanka, etc) duke it out once again.
Gotcha - that link was much more helpful and informative. Can't wait for the changes to Iron Banner!
I clicked the link and see nothing about the Iron Banner. How did this even get approved?
It's easier to move things out. Moving them to this year means they have to be finished.
While I'd agree that I'd rather have more games sooner, I don't think it's possible to make them come out any faster.
Farmassy - do you know what gamergate is? It's literally about Zoe Quinn sleeping with gaming journalists to generate positive reviews/buzz about her game.
It had nothing to do with feminism in any way until they twisted it around. It ALWAYS had to do with reviewers being "paid off." Except this time, not with money.
The title says "Bayonetta 2." I find it reasonable to think that this would refer to...I don't know. Bayonetta 2.
I think you just have issues with being wrong.
You can reply if you want. I won't be reading it, ChickeyCantor...lol
I'm just speaking on the facts.
Fact 1: The title of this article says "Bayonetta 2"
Fact 2: I beat the first one on PS3, so I haven't played it on WiiU (so you could be correct)
Fact 3: I was never being childish. I just said that you are wrong for saying these outfits are immediately available in Bayonetta 2 (because you are).
I think YOU are the one who needs to lighten up. Just because YOU heard of something doesn't...
So I've been playing for about 3 days now, and I still don't have the Link outfit. Get your facts straight before you come on here and try to tell people they are wrong.
@ Lord_Sloth
It's more like this:
1. Story Mission
-Bounties
-Patrols (these suck, by the way)
-Events
2. Strikes
-just a couple, and you play them over and over and over
3. Raids (you can remove the "s" at the end of Raids)
That's really just 3 things. The rest is just filler. Not that I hate the game or anything. I have 2 very high level characters (30 titan...
....aaaaaaaaand......he took the bait!
