I agree that it would be great on the next generation of consoles, but as Gears 3 recently demonstrated, and as Skyrim and Uncharted look to demonstrate in just over a month, the current generation is still able to be pushed further than it has been. In fact, its quite amazing that the games developers are coming out with this year are on 6 year old hardware. Either way though, I just want more Alan Wake.

Can someone explain why other people are finding this line funny? I mean, I find it humerous that this tech guy said it, but I came late to Xbox LIVE and am unaware of there ever being a network problem that Microsoft didnt fix, so are people finding it funny because its true (when did this happen?) or becuase its not true?

Enslaved was arguable one of last years best games. Yet becuase it was something different, people didnt like/buy it. And then they complain that there is not enough unique games or new IPs. The reason no publisher will risk a new IP is because of the people who are afraid to try something new.
The reason CoD sells buck loads every year? Becuase its the same thing with minor tweaks and people who like it, know that there is no chance of it taking a wide berth and trying somet...

They are negliecting it by not doing the smart thing and buying Remedy. There is no way Remedy will stay making exclusive Xbox games when they could very easily be getting a few million dollars more by porting the game over to PS3.

I recently lost my PS3, and now only having a 360 (which I play the most anyway), I envy the choice of Exclusives the PS3 had now that Im limited to only Xbox games. Really wish Microsoft would invest some time and money into catering more for us hardcore gamers who dont care for Kinect.

Wrong actually, Epic stopped production on an Unreal game becuase they knew too many people would pirate it on PC. And thats why so many PC devs are turning to consoles to make up the money they are losing from piracy.
Someone should have asked about the "PC scum" that are driving publishers to bankruptcy and financial loss by constantly and in copious amounts illegally downloading the games they spend millions upon millions of man hours and dollars to create for our enjoyment.
