I think whatever measures Sony have taken to protect the PSN itself will more than likely be enough to stop this bunch. They would be crazy to have not completely upgraded thier security in all fields.
I think its good timing to come back online, seeing as Brink was just released too. Would have been a lot of lost sales if it was down another week.
Hey mate, im from Aus, and when I checked a few hours ago, the update was available, not the actual PSN. I still couldnt play games or anything. But I think it shouldnt be too long.
Brilliant! Over 20 Days was a long wait, but I think it will be worth it if Sony's updates are as good as they promise.
The only thing you need to swap discs for is at 2 separate points in the story, not to freeroam. You can freeroam exactly the same on all 3 discs as well as the Blu Ray version.
Uh, both copies of the game (PS3 and Xbox 360) are EXACTLY the same in the aspect of free roaming. Every copy of the disc has the whole map on it and you are able to explore it all, the only thing each disc has are story missions the others dont, hence the need to only swap them twice during the entire game.
Absolutely! I dont mind switching discs twice during a game which promises to be extremely lengthy much less than I do waiting a huge install process if it means I get to enjoy it with my prefered achievement system and on controllers that suit my needs better. Sure, both are annoying in a slight way but both are not a big deal in the long run.

That is complete rubbish. Do you realise how much money EA would make if, for example they were console-exclusive entirely for Xbox? The PS3 would die out in a few years, there would be no more competition... Ever.

The point of a rumor is that it may or may not be the truth, so when a website such as this decides to publish an article, and clearly labels it as a RUMOR, its your perogative to not want to believe (whatever that reason may be; a PS3 fanboy, or perhaps just a tool) but it doesnt change the fact that a sustained website does have reliable sources.
