Haha, ive seen a few people call it that for some reason.
Far out, this looks unreal!
Wish I had a good graphics card to play this on :(
As much as I think both would totally suck, I would say it would be based in Farmville rather than about the devs.
I mean, look at the Battleship movie... Its about f'ing aliens! They can take anything with a popular name and turn it into something completely different than what it actually is.
P.S. Im actually looking forward to the Battleship film.
Personally, I only really play Call of Duty for the campaigns (I actually prefered them when they were still 'War' games like in the classic #2, but I still find them enjoyable), and agree that DICE needs to prove that BF is more than just an epic MP game (im still okay with that anyway, I love the MP). From what we've seen I think it will manage it.
I quite liked Battlefield 2: Modern Combat's singleplayer mode. Had more focused objectives, but still huge areas and maps, kinda a mix between the trademark BF MultiPlayer experience and a traditional singleplayer shooter.
Wonder how much money you would get if you landed on the Train track and it hit you?
Haha, I loved this the last 2 games, im sure it will be just as fun a third time around.
I never said anything about making it an FPS :/ ...
But now that you mention it, the words 'First Person Shooter" mention nothing about bullets dude.
Portal is a game, played in the first person perspective. Therefore, it is a First Person game.
The main objective of the game is to solve puzzles with a gun, which has the ability to shoot portals.... Shoot portals.... Shoot.
Using the logic of definitions and genres, ...
Hahaha, watch your mouth, there be PS3 fans in the mix on N4G this time of the night.
But you are right, Halo is one of the only original FPS games of this generation. Bulletstorm was kick ass and original, too, but people have come too accustomed to the standard 'military' experience to give it a chance.
When I play Portal, I use the portal gun to shoot portals onto walls to solves the puzzles.
@Shadowasta
Dude, I know I can plug my PC into my TV.
Thing is, I wasnt making any 'arguments', so nothing I said was 'flawed'. I was simply stating, I do not LIKE doing those things. I never said there was a problem with any of those things, nor did I make any statement about quality. It all comes down to personal taste, but I guess thats not okay to some people.
Nope.
Your loss.
Yep! The only help you need is what the games excellent online mode offers.
Dude, grow up. I'll buy this on my Xbox because I dont like to play PC games. I dont like using a keyboard and mouse for FPS games. I dont like sitting on my office chair while I play games. I dont like playing games on the small size of my computer monitor. I dont like having disc space taken up on the machine I work on from the PC games install. I dont like having to make sure my machine is going to be able to run the game before I buy it.I dont like PC gaming in general.
You played Crysis 1 on consoles 3 years ago did you?
Its not trying to compare itself to Assassins Creed. I doubt it will be as good as Portal though.
Actually, the MGS collection doesnt come with the first game.
Same here :(
Been without it for about 2 months now (was out of my control), really wish I could have experinced the end of this great series.
Yeah when you think about it, its actually kinda amazing the graphics some developers can come out with, given the technology is about 6 years old now.
