Worst name for a game series :/
Thanks man. I didnt write the article, but I very much like your outlook. We need to not forget these classics games, and its great to have writers not forgetting them and spreading the word to gamers who may have been too young to experience them the first time around.
Yeah, cause companies shouldnt make free DLC and give gamers more gameplay options, thats so terrible.
You people dont realise this DLC was created AFTER the game was completed. Thats why its not on the disc. When a game is made, there are often months before its released. This is when DLC is made. If its completed by games launch, this is when you get the fabled 'Day 1 DLC' you all seem to hate. Its not 'cut from the disc'. I know a select few publishers release on-disc DLC, but the vast majoirty DO NOT.
Actually no, I never got around to playing Rise of Nightmares. I should look into that though, it looked great.
Ryse will be awesome, too. Cant wait to check that out.
No one is saying awards shows are to tell you what movies to like or not, its just great to see films that you do enjoy be recognized for thier feats. I dont watch the Oscars and think "wow, I liked this movie and now I know these guys liked it too, I like it even more now!". I watch it and think, "I enjoyed [insert film or certain aspect from a film], I hope it gets the recognition it deserves for this triumphant feat." And if my prefered movies dont get the awards for t...
Mass Effect 3's Kinect features worked wonderfully, too. Thats the only way a game should use Kinect until they find some way of actually making it more than a gimmick to fully use it; with a controller too.
I think he just looked at the Tags. For some reason, there are actually 5 games on the list, but only tags for (and a name of) 4.
Im in the same boat as you guys. Ill just be grabbing Prototype and Witcher, im not too big on Japanese games. Will also be downloading the first ep of Walking Dead when that comes out.
Love obscure Top # lists, always an entertaining read. Good work.
I unfortunately left it too late and my local store had sold out of Collectors Editions. I might try to pick up the statue if someone is selling it on eBay (usually happens with Collectors Editions like this).
Master, you're thinking of IGN's review for Ninja Gaiden. But yeah, they will likely have a terrible score for this game, too. More and more they are losing respect as critics, their scores and reviews themselves are very often overly biased and opinionated, moreso recently.
Dude, some people prefer to play with a Controller. Neither one is 'better', its just personal prefernce. I often flogged my PC counterparts while playing against them in Shadowrun on my Xbox 360, becuase despite some people liking Keyboard & Mouse better, I was better with my controller than they were with their Keyboards. Its just personal taste.
Not every ending has to be all flowers and sunshine dude, get over it. Sometimes bad things happen to good people, and it can make for a great ending to a story (Requiem for a Dream, Black Swan, God of War, Force Unleashed, Shadow of Colossus, Bioshock 2, The Darkness, Red Dead Redemption). This was thier story, that they were telling us. One of the defining aspects was that we are left to wander, "oh wow, I wonder what life will be like in the Galaxy now?", "I wonder how all t...
If you're a huge NG fan, try the game for yourself instead of conforming to the mass internet mob of change-hating armchair critics. Ive been a fan of the series since the NES, and think this game looks excellent. Ninja Gaiden was never about choice of weapons, its always been about the rewarding challenge and ultra-stylish violence. Which this game looks to have.

You, my friend, speak so much truth. Its just a shame so many other poeple feel the need to critisize something they dont understand, and think they should decide how an artist works his craft and how a storyteller tells his story.
Oh of course, I completely agree. If I go to a site that has a Top 10 list or something, and they feel the need to put each number on a different page, I usually leave right away.
Each picture is displayed in a dynamic content box. It doesnt reload the page, or the URL. It just moves the slideshow over. They only get 1 hit.
It would presumably takes years to fully develop this game. It would be a stupid move to release a big game really close to the release of the next generation, so it might be a smart move from the publisher to wait until the next gen for the full release.
Wont happen. They need to release it console-only first to get PC gamers (who may also have an Xbox) to buy it, as well as Xbox gamers. That way when the finally do release it on PC later, there will be a lower piracy rate as some of those ignorant PC pirates would already have paid for the game on Xbox. Financial thinking.
