@blackbeld and OlgerO...seriously. What are you guys? 10 years old? Please tell me you are no older than that.
@unicron7 "You know how I can spot a fanboy? When they go against all logic and reason when picking a console. I see absolutely no reason to pick up a XB1 over the PS4 at this point."
Really? You mean like you just did? Considering neither console and no games have come out yet you sure do know a lot of facts. You must develop for both systems. Basically you're believing every piece of Sony PR and trashing every piece of Microsoft PR due to a bias. If you we...
Sony fanboys never cease to amaze me. It's comparable to talking to little kids who's best replies to information contradicting their world view is, "Nuh uh! Nuh uh!"
Last gen, fanboys said PS3 hardware was vastly superior to the 360 and claimed games would look noticeably better. After the systems launched, numerous comparison videos showed games that looked nearly indistinguishable between each system, if not slightly better on the 360. It's the ...
Every time I start thinking about preordering a PS4 along with the XB1, stuff like this happens and puts a sour taste in my mouth because I feel like these are the type of people I will run into playing on the PS4. This whole "article" and the responses to it are so immature. Now, I'm not saying there are not some seriously immature people on XBox Live, but I don't run into them all over the internet talking non-stop nonsense about their preferred console. And Sony CE'...
Haven't been here in a w week and this is the hottest story. Why am I not surprised.
If they drop the mandatory Kinect then developers have little reason to develop games utilizing it (too small of install base.) And even if they did then you just have the exact same thing as the PS4. Where's the innovation in doing that?
@Foxhound922...I'm going to have to agree with Ted, you need to grow up. Telling people to shut up, dismissing them with "cool story bro." No one reads that and thinks "Boy, he's cool. He really told that guy." They scroll by and roll their eyes.
@MysticStrummer...from your first link: "Neither Sony nor Microsoft have indicated how many consoles they are producing for launch day, but GameTrailers' sources suggest that at least one GameStop store has 138 PS4 consoles in its allocation, with 66 actively having been pre-ordered by customers already, to just 18 Xbox Ones." - That's a "GameTrailers' source" who is so well connected he got someone at ONE GameStop to tell him their allocation.
But then if you click "Best Selling in Video Games in 2013" it has PS4 at #3 and XB1 and #6. Most wished for has PS4 #1 and XB1 at #3 and #11 (different versions.) Not sure how all those numbers jive.
Nice trolling reply DragonKnight. You really believe the NSA is planning on spying on people with the Kinect? Give me a break.
BTW, I'm really torn up that you blocked me after you said patriotism for my country (US) is unwarranted. I have a screenshot if anyone would like to see.
And your comment has what to do with mine?
@Nivalis...you cannot bring up the PSEye when you have all been busy hammering the Kinect as something no one wants. Sony chose not to bundle the PSEye and you all praised that, even though it means it will have far less developer support. You can't have it both ways.
"Both are articles more relevant than 'I fear the PS4 has nothing to offer."
Because if it's not relevant to you then it's not relevant to anyone. You'd rather see rehashes of articles that have been done to death that prove your perceived superior game console evaluation skills.
You claim that the title of the article is inflammatory and then make and then close with an inflammatory comment. OK.
Ha, OK. Easy there. You're on a Sony biased site. It's like the people who only go to Fox News and were absolutely shocked when a Republican didn't win for President. All the news and commentary on that news was filtered through a biased group...kinda like here.
I'm seeing some people talk about GOTY and some about GOTG, which are two very different things. I haven't played Bioshock Inifinite or The Last Of Us but from what I hear they are both good candidates for GOTY. However, GOTG, to me, are games that define what the generation is - and those usually aren't the ones that come at the end of the generation. For my money, Bioshock (the original) would have to be the GOTG.
I don't know. Maybe. I really wish both new consoles would just do the backwards compatibility thing.
You guys are hilarious. If the article says anything positive about XB1 or negative about PS4, it is a MS fanboy article. Talk about hypocritical! You don't have to agree with his points but they are not fanboy claims. He's giving cogent, concise reasons.
This "article" and the picture attached are pure trolling. I guess N4G has given up on the appearance of being unbiased. Perhaps Sony has bought them.
Seems most people didn't bother to read the article. (Sad that 4 sentences constitutes an article these days.)
"And the firm says that 86 per cent of attendees will use the show to decide between PS4 and Xbox One....and Upper Street research says that 73 per cent of visitors are currently planning to buy a PS4 – higher than the 69 per cent considering an Xbox One."
And don't forget, 14% said they would not use the show to decide on buyi...
