@Deividas...clearly missing a sense of humor.
@SilentNegotiator...his joke is poking fun at those that think MS has a secret agenda of watching and listening to us. Fact of the matter is, we're not that interesting! Oh no, wait, maybe they're in bed with the NSA and the NSA is hoping that terrorists are really into gaming and will buy XB1's and they'll be able to spy on them! Yeah, that's it! Give it a rest.
@amiga-man...Your immature comment is the epitome of the negative aspects of gaming culture.
Mexxan, I'm also getting both systems but I don't agree with your assertion that PS3 exclusives were leaps and bounds above XB360. That's really a matter of personal opinion. Yes, yes "Last of Us" looks nice but it doesn't look any better than things I've seen on XB360. Graphically, last gen was a draw.
FACT #1: We won't really know what differences this translates to for a couple more years.
FACT #2: Both will have great games.
FACT #3: I'll be getting both :)
Kinda cool as long as it's subtle and not too obnoxious.
LoveoftheGame said: "MIghtyNoX here is a prime example of what is wrong with this site and the gamer community. Believes no one else can have their own opinion and are wrong for liking a different console.
This site alone has killed all my enjoyment and interest in the PS4 or Sony. Not since my disdain for the 49ers due to my dad's gloating, have the fans of a specific thing driven me to want to see its failure. I honestly want Sony to just make every single mistake ...
First of all, the term "true gamer" is laughable. Only someone extremely arrogant and/or insecure would label people in such a way. What, if you play game A and I play game B that decides who is a true gamer? This reminds me of film nerds who don't like anything unless it's an obscure, low budget indie film. COD of Duty has become "popular" because millions of people like playing it. While it may seem fashionable to say you don't like it, it does not make ...
Well said. I can't imagine MS would allow that to happen and risk losing part of it's core audience.
"You don't need to know" is an arrogant and hostile answer. Penello certainly does need to know. The fact that someone else in MS wouldn't tell him is concerning. I mean, it's a real f'ing simple question that deserves a simple yes or no answer.
However, I would be absolutely shocked if it did not display at 1080p on both consoles. Not only would it look bad for MS if it didn't on theirs but it would also look bad for Activision that they co...
You mean a critical analysis of the situation before reacting and spewing venom on the internets? Ah, wouldn't it be nice... :)
This should be the headline banner on N4G. Glad to see someone else gets it.
Looks like you typed this as I was posting a comment. See mine right below yours. Perfect example.
The first thing I thought when I read this comment was "I wonder where they got these numbers from and if it includes all channels."
The first thing most of the people posting here thought: "This article is 100% proof positive of my position and I will quote it as my source in future fanboy wars!"
Morons.
It is worth keeping an eye on. I'm no engineer but it doesn't make sense it can be this small and have an internal power unit. My first PS3/ george foreman grill used to get super hot but never shut off.
You have to blow in the cartridge really hard back and forth. Then stick it back in and you should be good to go.
Let's be fair here, if this had happened to the XBox One the predictions of doom and failure and "I told you so's" would be off the charts.
Are we sure this is the actual final retail packaging? Dummy boxes are usually quite a bit different than what the actual units will go in. Even the thickness of the cardboard will make it look a lot different. These just look like very flimsy displays.
Wasn't too impressed. I've seen better in Forza and to lesser extent GT5. Colors are over saturated and the whites are blown out. Especially noticeable on the white parts of the interior. Looks like someone is shining a flashlight on it.
@dmitrijs88
I just wanted to take a moment to salute you for being so clever and original. The way you take the abbreviation for Microsoft - MS - but use a dollar sign instead of an S...it's brilliant! M$! It's like you're saying that they are a corporation and care about profits whereas Sony is an honest, gamer-loving entity that does not care about profits. So deep man! :)
"It's about the NSA and advertisers having easy, creepy information."
Let's think about this statement, shall we? There are two groups you say would use information that could hypothetically be caught by the Kinect...advertisers and the NSA...so I'll address both.
Advertisers: It is highly unlikely that advertisers would use anything from the Kinnect to deploy targeted ads. Firstly, it would require extremely sophisticated and expensi...
