N4G: So you're telling me the Xbox One X isn't native 4K and dynamic just like the PS4 Pro
DF: Well yes its dynamic, but the One X barely drops below native 4K
N4G: Nope you said its dynamic, so same as PS4 Pro
DF: Well no, the Pro barely ever touches native 4K
N4G: Nope you said its dynamic so basically the same thing, totally not worth extra $100

If its not advertised as 4K HDR, then it probably lacks a 10 bit panel or a wide color gamut. Some of the older Samsung's feature pseudo HDR with just maxes contrast and peak brightness
It looks WAY sharper than the PS4 Pro version...having played it on my 4K TV with the Pro, just YouTube streams of it look sharper than my Pro version.
Yes def identifies an image for a brand, but its not the most important factor. Sales prove that, as barely any exclusives will outsell a COD, FIFA or 2K title, even on those respective platforms.
The geniuses on N4G forget its a mid-gen upgrade. Its selling point and value comes in what it delivers on the hardware end for its price. Which is phenomenal value as there is NO PC on the market at $500 that can match the One X's performance.
And stop comparing it to PC, its a console, its direct competitor is the PS4 Pro, not you're brute PC capable of rendering real life in 5K.
You literally counter argued itself, its a mid-gen upgrade, it isn't supposed to have exclusives genius. It takes your existing Xbox One, 360 and OG Xbox library and plays it at higher fidelity. Its value comes in what it offers as hardware for the money and you'd be hardpressed to build a machine at $500 that can even match the One X's performance.
The console's aim is for 4K visuals, its literally designed around 4K televisions, so why would Microsoft prioritize frame-rate at 1080p? Thats like shitting on a AMG or M car for not having good gas mileage lol
Loser fanboy logic: My console is better because the graphics require less storage
These are mid-gen consoles aimed at GRAPHICAL IMPROVEMENTS, the best one is the one that does those the best, which in case is the One as its fidelity is higher on almost every single title

Uh no duh genius, its aimed at a niche market in comparison to the base PS4/ Switch.Which it isn't even competing with
Not really, the PS4 Pro maxes out around 1520p on the resolution count while the Xbox One X can hit native 4K scale down to and usually float around the 4K checkerboard realm. Its image quality is MUCH better period and thats not even adding in the higher graded textures.
In house engine, they spent over 5 years developing it from the ground up in preparation for the PS3 and its only evolved since then. All of their engines are also optimized to the brim for each console Sony gives them, as each engine is scaled to work with that exact hardware, its why their games aren't as easy to port and why TLOU: Remastered was actually a good amount of work.
I'm hoping they can actually push the PS4 Pro hardware and do not only a higher resolution...but a ton of additional graphical improvements. The Pro is WAY more powerful than the base and I'm hoping ND can show us just how much
I feel you, I got Shadow of War I haven't touched, still haven't beaten the Witcher 3 completely, HZD's DLC is dropping, haven't beaten Persona 5, Destiny 2 DLCs about 2 months away....and I'm never gonna finish anything

Did you need a tissue for those tears?

1080p VS 2160p?
4X the resolution....oh man the One X trumps the PS4 Pro here by ALOT
WTF are you talking about? Its the same game, their not going to run a different renderer for the One X version lol
Thats quite a massive difference in resolution, but I really do hope they go beyond just a resolution bump and improve shadows and texture quality.

Say it ain't so....that line up sounds horrid
Can't wait to see this game in HDR, its a very good looking game and Anvil Next has some of the best implementation of GI in the industry

BRUH, good deal for us Pro owners, free and it gets upgraded
