Damn I'm impressed...this engine is ancient and terribly optimized yet the One X holds a native 4K image 90% of the time compared to the 1440p on the Pro. But lets just keep talking about how big the difference was between 900p and 1080p
They gave a $10 code in NA. Which got me Middle Earth Shadow of Mordor :)
The MIT CS engineers on N4G against the One X are very clueless.
Almost every single enhanced title is loading faster with much higher quality assets ( FM7, COD WW2, AC etc.)
But look at a title with no enhancement (GTA 5) the One X loads at more than half the speed and these suckers still want you to think its barely an improvement. How about the Pro with its mediocre base PS4 hard-drive?
4K TVs are at the $200 range, its not nearly as impossible for the general mass to buy them as the Harvard Business analysts on N4G want you to believe. 4K media/gaming is the thing and Microsoft has the far more appealing 4K product on the market.
I think what I meant by major flaw is that is more on us both getting that penalty, in that if I ram into you and you get a penalty for going off track, I should get the same. Thats fair to me the game rewards good driving, but also has gray areas you can abuse to win races by being dirty
Forza Leagues is a huge let down, I really enjoy the FIA races, I just wish they weren't so stale and had some night racing thrown in. Haven't done a FIA one in the night and I love night racing in this game
The system in place is great, but its got major flaws in the penalty system that need to get fixed. Someone bumping me from behind or clipping me on the side and me cutting the track because of that shouldn't get me a 10 second penalty while he gets nothing except a small hit to his SR.

Thats on the fact that the game isn't using GI based solution for lighting, its old school dynamic lighting where you illuminate lighting data on individual sources. I'm hoping their next evolution of the engine is pushing for GI solution
Didn't touch HZD after I beat it, but playing AC: Origins I was blown away by the visuals especially with HDR. But man going back to this, its not even close this game is on another level visually

The Pro is marketed as a 4K device, its why Sony put the 4K HDR symbol on the box that the console sells in. It also had 4K written all over its marketing, both mid-gen upgrades are aimed at "4K" gaming with the One X being able to better hit those resolutions
Feel like this is more of Pro issue than X
On the side: The KS 8000 is pretty amazing man, like it holds it own against my Sony OLED and its WAY CHEAPER
