@Dirty
Didn't you know only Sony is for the gamers, anything Microsoft does is done in the deed of bringing humanity one step closer to extinction. Sony is for us, all hail Sony
The Sony fanboys are losing their mind that this game looks great, don't get me wrong fanboys in general are mentally delirious and need to get help, but for some reason the Sony ones are extra poison, never once appreciating good games unless its on their platform
Positive comment about Xbox....please be careful you'll start getting threats for things like this you brave fool
Pretty sure most people watching this aren't even watching it on a 4K monitor or TV and using a 1080p screen then saying " OMG no difference"
The One X is much more powerful than the Pro, the mental try hards on N4G need to understand that
It can sink your ship....play the game than talk
@TFJ
No kiddo, an Alpha is designed to stress test the engine and the general game design elements, a Beta is designed to test net code and various toolsets in the engine during use. Most Betas are basically demos these days that people forget that its still used for data collection to continue optimization and get feedback on the title
N4G holds all of the insecure folks of the real world, not saying everyone but a vast majority of the community is Pro PS4 and hates anything that isn't tied to it. I don't know how that isn't a mental condition
Its graphics are also top notch, I played the original alpha at E3 running at 4K with HDR ( on the One X) and its one of the most beautiful games to play. I'm hoping Rare can add some unique locations and things on the ocean, but as of right now its a stunner visually
Where are the new tracks?
" The game looks beautiful, but theres nothing to do"
Ahh its an alpha, they aren't gonna be giving you quests and various activities, they're looking for game engine bugs, optimization of net code and general QOL improvements to the game based on feedback
BEST racer of last year....GT Sport def impresses, but certain things give this game the easy advantage.
1. Night racing....it feels literally the same grip wise as day/ evening racing in GT, thats not realistic and hell even a sim-cade like FM7 gets that part right, you have a lot less grip and traction at night
2. Dynamic time/weather....GT Sport promised as a feature when the game would launch and still NOTHING to this day, you have like one wet weat...
@Razzer
At least watch the video you're gonna link he completely disables MSAA the One X version runs it at 4X
Also all of the settings are at high and some are at ultra and some settings ( static shadows) are even higher, while this video shows him scaling between medium and high settings for certain variables. So.....your point again?
Thought we’d get a souped up Thunderbird, but overall this DLC is great and has much better side stories than the main game. The new weapons are freaking badass too
Can't wait for this game, not a person whose played at E3 or other demos have come away bored or not impressed
What’s the proof? I mean saying a Microsoft representative isn’t exactly raw evidence, that’s almost pure heresay. This is what journalism has come to?
Well there might be a new Metroid, Bayonetta 3, new Pokémon game, rumors of the Smash Bros port is also possible, that already sounds incredible and that’s just titles we’ve been hinted at
@VideoGame
Doesn't count its Sony, their announcements and delays are for the gamers, Microsoft's are to hurt people's personal lives and bring the earth closer to apocalypse
@Kingthrash360
Just because a franchise has critical acclaim doesn't mean another entry in the franchise is easy to make into a great game. Plenty of franchises have seen a 3rd or 4th game be shitty compared to its predecessors, also the team that made Gears had plenty of newcomer, including personal from Irrational who made multiple GOTY level titles
They have a ton of talent at the studio, Fergusson aside they brought on some personal from Irrational too ( Bioshock makers), so excited for this. Hoping its a 3rd person space opera
The length wasn't its only issue, it reaped of lazy game design and in every way it looked more like a tech showcase than a true story based action adventure game. It did have some interesting lore and the visuals were crazy good. I'd love a Pro support with HDR just for the hell of it
