If you have a friend that works for Sony, their employees are getting a holiday sale and its being sold at factory invoice to PS employees ($250)
Engine is proprietary, it exists within Sony's in house groups. So they can use it whenever
Probably be:
Native 4K - PC's top settings @ 30 FPS
Performance Mode - Base Xbox One settings 900p @ 60 FPS
$200 vs $500 which would win? lol come on now
The game is stupidly popular however their investment is in the early access version.....as in the full game will launch on PS4. To me thats not worth a dime, EA exclusivity is paying for your user base to get shit code and run their game at 2 FPS
@Jag
Most gaming PCs on Steam aren't even on par with the One X and now everyone's PC is? Helps to take corporate sack out of your mouth to try and make sense.
I mean shit on CD3 and State of Decay all you want, but Sea of Thieves is an AMAZING game its very fun and brings a lighthearted social experience, not a single time playing any of the Alphas or the floor demo was I bored and seeing as how it was one the most popular game at every E3 its had a floor demo, I'd say I'm not alone
@Ultra
You're forgetting price, the Switch will only get cheaper and its classic library along with increased 3rd party support in the future will only keep this momentum up. Glad its doing so well, its a fantastic machine
Love it, good way to keep people interacting outside of those who attended.
The size of your TV has nothing to do with GPU load nor graphical performance
Basically Two Modes
High Fidelity: 1440p at 30 FPS
High Frame Rate Mode: 1080p targeting 60 FPS
The Coalition has talent, but Microsoft's gotta let these guys fly, I get Gears is their thang, but really a new IP in between a Gears title wouldn't be bad
This game is INCREDIBLY fun...the interaction between players is hilarious and extremely engaging. Now i'll get down voted for this comment cause the PS circle jerks can't stand any positive news about Xbox. But I highly recommend at least giving this game a shot, its a gem in the making
@Jag
Whats wrong with Zelda's graphics? Its art style is league ahead of most games. As for performance issues, lets not act like most AAA games don't have performance issues and bugs when its first launched
This comment section:
DF: The Xbox One X versions runs at much higher resolution with PC's top settings, far out classing the PS4 Pro on visual performance, however the frame-rate suffers and dips heavily in taxing areas.
N4G: HAHA so Pro is the superior version then, haha loser Xbox
DF: Well no the One X version is def superior visually, and most of those performance issues can be ironed out the same way the Pro's and base Xbox One an...
Show me a direct statement where Microsoft promised 4K 60 FPS all the time
Pipe down ignoramus, clearly have no clue as to how game development works. UE4 is highly programmable for lower to the metal optimization, which makes zero sense for EPIC to do at the moment seeing as its not in final code. They're targeting a launch resolution and working to eliminate bottle necks and programming bugs to improve performance. So closer to its full launch you'll see improvements in performance, though I doubt the PS4 Pro is going anywhere above 1080p
The Xbox One X def has the juice to deliver higher fidelity games than the PS4, but in the end Sony's ND engine and Decima produce some of the most photo realistic iteration of games to date. I do think art-style plays a huge part and games like Sea of Thieves look gorgeous, but in the area of photo-realism, I haven't seen any of MSFT's studio deliver at the level of Sony's.
Still don't get why Sony hasn't allowed Dolby to push an app for 3D audio to PS4's....but as usual lets just sell our own product instead
The One X version shits on the Pro, not only cause of higher resolution, but an inclusion of a 60 FPS mode. Oh and HDR on this game is stunning, which the PC version doesn't have....so despite not matching it at its best, the One X version stands on its own as a great option
