then why aren't low end pc's holding back higher end pc's...They aren't..Newer games on consoles will be more like pc's where there will be different levels of optimization to choose from.
I dunno.... Scorpio being 4.5 time more powerful than the X1 should yield some pretty good results.
It wasn't really the main reveal...just a spec reveal...Price-point, new games and all the fun stuff happen at E3.
Funny, I seem to recall most gamers demanding a console powerful enough to be relevant (power wise) for more than two years. Scorpio fits that bill. Two "ifs".. If MS introduces some high quality console exclusives as well as having more PC ports at least to the Scorpio the console will sell extremely well.

You are talking as if everything Sony brings out is some glorious almost religious experience...It's not, kid...With backward compatible games included the Scorpio will not only boost many of those games it bring the number of playable games to over 600. I'll tell you right now I would rather play Halo and Gears of War over Horizon and Uncharted..Why, those are my type of games. No trolling from you will change that. If I want a good racer, right now there is no better than Forza...Ag...

Well Its nice you are the best...If you are that good and you are a console gamer it makes little sense that you wouldn't what the best hardware that would offer the highest resolution and highest constant framerate to go along with your skill set. I stand by my comment. When the 360 came out it took millions of sales from PS3 because it offered the best over experience with AAA cros-plats...The same thing happened when the PS4 had the better hardware over the X1...Millions went back or o...
Console gamers that want to play COD and Battlefield most will purchase this system knowing they will be getting the best console version of the game for at least the next three to four years.

Who says this time next year it will have fewer exclusives? When X1 came out for the first two years it had more exclusives (not counting indies).
$399 would be awesome but for what MS is delivering the Scorpio will certainly sell well at $499...anything over that would start driving away core demographics.
PS4 may have crept up and outsold the 360 the final year of that gen but MS was always way ahead in software... MS killed that gen and made a ton more money than Sony overall.
No chance it will cost $700. It will be $499 US or less (doubtful it will be less)...MS is not full of fools no matter how many may not like the company. They know full well anything over $500 US will be commercial suicide no matter how powerful the console.
