Pure is poo, I prefered PS2 ATV games over it. I forget which one but you could tackle assault courses as mini games. That was class
My Chinchilla had a seizure while watching Mario Kart. I set up an experiment to force him to watch again and......... he collapsed in a fit and vomited all over the carpet. My wife was not happy. She says it might just be driving games though, like a kind of car sickness. We'll see, I intend to set up another experiment using the PS3 version of GRID and PES 09. I'll let you know how it goes !!
I must say, I bought PURE as a put on til MS2, the reviews were good but it wasnt for me. I got bored really quickly. MS is in a different league to PURE. I will buy this day 1, MS1 was superb, nothing else like it, well not to the same standard anyway. MS2 builds on that in almost every way. If you didnt like the first one you wont like Pacific Rift, simple as....but if like me it is still one of your favourite games, then this is what you want, more of the same but improved substantially....
Ive got space in my library for a good racing game. Grid is great but I only play the d.derby anymore. I feel the need......the need for SPEED !! It does look good in the trailers, I really hope it mirrors the atmosphere created them.
I cant believe they release fodder like this. Surely someone overlooking the development of these games at some point must say " Guys, this is pants. Scrap it" If this is the best the "creative" minds at SEGA can come up with then they need a shake up, big time. Yes they once ruled, their arcade heritage is what has seen them through but the world has caught up and surpassed them. People are no longer happy with 8 hours basic gameplay with no replay value.

It could be very good. Thats the problem, I always think "mmm. nfs might be worth a punt this year" but no, always a letdown. They need to get the handling right, more like the weighty cars of the original 3do version. They should have stuck with that basic formula and then introduced updated graphics, sound etc... The recent games have been crap. I just want a driving game thats solid with the handling of say pgr but without the stupid tests and the gameworld of nfs/burnout
I say, compare away. Why do people want to stop comparing now? The 360 came out on top in a lot of previos comparisons. Now the PS3 is coming into its own and the 360 has peaked, I would like to see the difference. It is clearly obvious, not from those shots, but of every shot and video of these two big hitters that KZ2 is going to be the new benchmark in console graphics. I'm sure Gears 2 will look great but not in the same league.

It is a well known fact that women can multi-task and do to keep themselves active and free from boredom. Maybe if he wasnt such a boring d**k and kept her interested, she wouldnt get so wrapped up in her own world. He wants to be thankful that the two things she does at the same time are play on 360 and use mac, and not 2 of his friends !
Decisions decisions.....do I stay true to myself and play ranked matches as various teams eg. I remember paying similar prices for other consoles. Mega drive, Dreamcast, PS1, PS2, etc... Consoles have always had a hefty price. I think the PS3 is great value considering what you get. The technology packed into that box is phenominal compared to yesteryears efforts, although obviously they were cutting edge at that time.

You know, the only thing that annoys me about pro evo are the online players. I will often choose unfasionable teams for a bit of variety whereas some people pick the likes of Brazil or Inter / Barca without fail. I cannot stand it when I play a superior passing game and outplay the opposition only for them to hoof it to Adriano who, with his back to goal and 45 yards out barges through 4 tackles and smashes it in the top corner. Always has been pro evo for me. The gameplay is far superior. Yes Fifa has improved but I would never buy it. It just feels too groggy, like the grass is too long or something. I've pre ordered at Blockbuster for £34.99, you get a leather football with it and for pre ordering you get some vouchers, one of which is £5 off any game over £20. I think thats a good deal taking into account all the great games on the way.
