Wow !! This game has got me excited now. Just bought GOW on PSP, havent played it yet, got too many games of late on ps3. Ive spent a fortune, buying old games i'd traded in cos theyre reduced to ridiculous prices. Anyway, I digest.... yeah GOW 3, CANNOT WAIT. I havent wanted a game this early in its development since KZ2, thank god the wait for that is nearly over. PS3 has some awesome games now and to look forward to. Happy times !!
I disagree. FPS is my genre of choice and I must say, cod4 pretty much nailed it for me. However, I have played through the KZ2 demo 15 - 16 times now and I love it. It is true that it takes some getting used to but now I have, I think the controls are great.
It is a matter of preference but why should the devs change an aspect of THEIR game to please a percentage of customers.
Played through 3 times in a row. WOW, what a game this is going to be. Graphics are phenomenal. You cant take everything in in one go. I noticed different things each time I played. The AI is very good. I approached the Helghast 3 different ways, they reacted differently each time. The reviews are right, the Helghast are sneaky f*****s. If I press forward, they blitz me with bullets from every angle. If I hang in the background and crouch behind cover, they advance, flank and force me out ...

GIGGSY, tell me this. When the 360 has run its cycle ( I give it a year or 2 at most ) what are you going to do ? The jpn network had resi 5 demo ages ago, that was'nt available to u.s or euro players even with my jpn account. I have a feeling it will be locked. We will see......... Im from England so im cool , hope for everyone else that its not locked. Share the love I say.
Who complains about cod4 maps ? Thats ridiculous.... best mp game by a mile. The maps are awesome. I cant wait for Halo Wars.... ( Id rather shave 28 monkeys than play that rts s**t ). Bring out something decent MS.

Well, all I can say is, you cant have much of an imagination. You need to put yourself into that zone where its believable. I am over 30 years old, have watched the goriest most shocking films out there and seen in person some horrible things ( its my job, im not a serial killer ) and I can tell you that if you can put yourself in that frame of mind then you will appreciate what the devs are trying to achieve, which they do with this game. I really liked the first game. Must say, my first impressions were, graphically, not that strong but gameplay is solid and WHAT ? not scary, it is. Try playing with lights off at night. I thought the bit where the ghostly apparition was done really well. Monolith are superb at creating that kind of spooky supernatural atmosphere. Might get this to put me on till KZ2.
Well, it was a toss up for me !! 50 Cent , sfiv or KZ2. I can only afford 1. Looks like we have a winner !!!!!! 50 cen......what the f**k !! Ha Ha Ha , maxim reviewing games. RTS games are poo !! Keep them on PC I say. And to all the PC nerds coming on slagging consoles, get a life. I am a games player, in that I spend most of my spare time playing console games, I spend a large chunk of my wage on them. I always buy new consoles day 1, have for over 25 years.
