(If) I have a complaint,
it would be that they need to patch back in the original control scheme and sensitivity settings from previous games.
I really really hate how hyper/over responsive the sensitivity settings are now.
they should just allow everybody that's played the past 5 games (the ultimate edition of the first game included) with the control scheme we're used to...
I'm hoping it does well,
but more so that it's a really good game as I'm looking forward to playing it, of course.
(big gears fan)
but I think people are automatically discounting the negative anti-MS sentiment that comes from Fanboys on the other side,
and they're going to Savage this game just like they have everything else that's come out for Microsoft.
crackdown 3 (to my grave) I will say was not as bad of a game as it ...
Not seeing my character breaks immersion and all of the effort that I'm putting into customizing it.
Mass effect the original trilogy, and God knows how many other games that are RPGs( including their previous work) discounts the entire argument,
and I personally believe they're removing third person cutscenes to double down on their previous statement, so that it won't look as weak...
it isn't going to cost a penny, obviously you don't know anything about game design.
third person perspective is there within the tools of designing the game to begin with.
so they can pull back look at the characters, and be able to measure distance between objects, level and environment geometry, object placement, all sorts of things.
"Compromise our vision", it's a horseshit argument, and it was from the beginning.
Lots of people...
I can scarcely think of anyone that wouldn't buy a remake of crysis.
particularly by the creators,
they would be able to re-establish themselves financially in the space of one year,
probably sell five times as many copies as the original crysis, which is what put them on the map...
It's still one of the games I was most impressed with, for a very very long time,
love that game the concept the pacing and the way that it w...
I'm one of those people that bought the deluxe edition of the first game, when it came out,
and after playing at 4 a week I was really angry and disappointed at what it was.
so I put it aside kept the game and hoped for better Seeing as ubisoft keeps the majority of their promises...
a year+ later I picked it up and started playing it after the final patch came out, and really really enjoyed it (this was probably 2 weeks after the second game launched) p...
Not to mention the horseshit controversy over requests for them to make it capable to be played in 3rd person, stating it would "ruin their vision" for the game which is one of the weakest excuses I've ever heard....
if anything there's maybe 5% Credence to the opposite argument, which is something designed in third person isn't going to have the graphical clarity, detail, and impact in first person, that it would have normally,
I've heard plenty of...
..... And how everything they've done since leaving and creating destiny and what this article States and what they said about their partnership with Activision contradicts, and it's the opposite of what you just stated.
Bungie was owned by Microsoft, and they actually gave them back their independence and merely kept the Halo IP, so how is that treating them badly?
I think you have your "facts" a little skewed here.
There's also that little
...
Sounds good,(no I haven't played for a very long time, since quite a while before they left Activision) it'll be interesting to see, from where I left off, what's available as far as an add-on, and what the price tag is.
because if there's a ton more content and things to do,
they sure as hell aren't offering it for free.
the only question is:
is it one or two $40 expansions ?
(Additional microtransactions n...
If you can play with friends, hunting down the predator as a bot, with scaling difficulty, how would that not be good for sales of the game and the general public?... but you go ahead and keep getting your self-esteem from playing video games,
Some of us have played Ninja gaiden all of the dark souls games etc, and this isn't a question of difficulty or an easy mode whatsoever,
it's simply a preferred playstyle.
it's really getting ridiculous brother there's a couple of sites that every time I go to them I've got an ad covering half the page trying to read it and then the ads tend to stay with you if you're trying to post anything in the comments section as well, it's unbelievable...
Yeah repealing net neutrality has just been great for everything,
now they can literally bombard you ceaselessly...
The thing is,the guy at the top of bungee is an asshole,
and that would be Harold Ryan, and he is an asshole absolutely.
that being said, same with everybody here, kind of figured it was Activision pushing these things...
I don't know if they realize how much they just shot themselves in the ass,
I wasn't planning on buying any of their upcoming content for destiny 2, but I did plan on going back and finishing all of the stuff that was there tha...
This is probably the fifth time I've gone to post a comment and I have multiple ads from this site just covering half of the page, I can't even type in a response or post anything. it's getting so ridiculous on some of these gaming websites
game of the year? no.
in fact, considering some of the things that have been out and that are coming out, I don't really see it getting nominated for that,
but it doesn't need to.
it's never needed to.
it looks to be an awesome experience by itself, and I'm looking forward to it 🤘
They didn't influence them, they bought them.
they now own the studio.
and I'm with the developers on this one.
too many people being assholes towards them, and they stated it.
and the way they stated it wasn't an insult to their complete fan base, the way the whole phrase was characterized has been completely blown out of proportion, starting with the idiot that responded back, because he didn't like being called out for his whini...
