the solution is to get better games, and when games launch in a horrible state, for them to be fixed.
if all of the companies were to fail and die, like people wish every time there was a bad game, there wouldn't be many games.
Amount of money it takes to build and then distribute a game is astronomical nowadays...
wildlands was a great game, some people didn't really enjoy it but I thought the open-world suited it perf...
As if The article wasn't bad enough,
all of the ridiculous speculative infighting in the comments section really seals it...
Let's just throw another log on to the ridiculous console Fanboy Wars bonfire,Jesus Christ.
It'd be nice if there was ANY shred of actual information,
in ANY of the gigantic block of horseshit, that is this article 😴
I hope you're not planning on buying the next gen system.
you got an even ruder awakening coming...
As consoles move more towards PC capability, as of this last generation (the current one actually) you're going to see a lot of the downfalls or the negatives that come with that, and one of them is games constantly have to be patched and updated, for PC people this isn't a problem.
for console people,if you want greater capabilities, you'll have to ...
it didn't work when he went to play campaign, it's not just the campaign. he had NO access anything beyond basic training, and the menu screen, sorry it's not 10 years ago....
and I see someone that doesn't understand that this is with ***leaked copies*** that you weren't entitled to play at that point anyway.
the patch will become available when the game is released,
now as for not being able to just purchase a game and put it in without an update?
show me one single game that you can play without it being updated...?
campaign or otherwise, that's the reality we live in, if you haven't come to understand that at ...
Couldn't have said it better, which was the whole point, thank you sir.
@cdbiggen, you understand or do you need it further clarified for you,
Just a lunatic, checking up on you kid.
notwithstanding, again, you're not entitled to play something before it's released.
here, we're going to put a security code in a patch that isn't available yet,
that will prevent people from playing the game should it be leaked early... yeah that's really outside of the scope of their legal options...
no, actually.
No it isn't.
I would imagine part of the patch is going to be a security code to keep it from being leaked out into the wild, before paying customers get a chance to access it at the appropriate time.
they're protecting their intellectual property.
everyone thinks because they did pay money to begin with, they have a right to get it and play it whenever they want,
that's just not how the world works.
you bought it knowing what the release date or dates ...
With good rechargeable batteries like Panasonic enloops (2500's) it's not a problem at all, mine have lasted since I've gotten my console
And I still got 25 to 30 hours of use out of each pair 👍
How about a removable battery pack, or several of them?
or the ability to use rechargeable batteries?
wouldn't that be great?
or is that just too chaotic thinking? or does it make you uncomfortable because then it would be like an Xbox feature?, and we can't have that.
and as far as not being here
("we" got a mouse in your pocket, son) to talk about Xbox,
How many Xbox articles have I seen you in ?
that's...
I'm an Xbox guy,
but my understanding is they're doing everything they can to sort of change that,
as to how it'll be treated monetarily?, at least Xbox is already spelled it out.
for PlayStation I don't know... they're making a lot of money off of that practice, so being able to make the majority of titles from the PlayStation 3 era backwards compatible is actually financially counterintuitive...
PlayStation likes money as much as anybo...
Although that's certainly their strategy, I don't believe this has anything to do with that.
it's much like the end of the last generation,
there's been a big uptick since the beginning of the generation as far as graphical Fidelity.
everybody wants things like Ray tracing, while that comes at a price,
be prepared to download a hell of a lot more to have those assets.
(not that this game uses Ray tracing, but it certai...
Ridiculously so.
and @ ricegum:
there's nothing that looks or runs or is comprable to God of War?
you're dreaming, or maybe hallucinating or maybe you've never looked at a single thing on PC....
Also @ KaaF, the ps4 slim is weaker than Xbox one s.
You forgot that one.
Some people just can't accept reality,
you got the money for the build, there's nothing that's coming out in the next generation of consoles that can touch what a beast PC build could do, and the fact that what you're looking at
(as he stated) is a demo running on essentially a beefed-up PC dev kit
Contradicts his own statement.
@Sushimama:
"My post has absolutely nothing to do with me"...
It's almost as (not quite, but almost) stupid as the last post you made, but equally as myopic ... 🐑
I haven't seen the redesign/refinement yet for the controller, but I've heard they're going with a much smoother design that they feel is more practical,
I know that they've had a lot of people complain about this and they've changed it, I think it'll be interesting (even though I'm not getting a PlayStation5) definitely gamepad is everything if that's not comfortable in your hands and you can't completely forget you're even holding it, that...
Love all the disagrees, even though you clearly stated you will own both consoles.
And that childish fanboyism bullshit sums up PlayStation in a nutshell.
for myself, (and a lot of Xbox people) what you don't get is I don't care if the crowd or the masses opinion is different from mine.
Even a 100 to 1 ratio, it doesn't make you right, it doesn't make you better,
it doesn't make your console preference superior,

I'm not "convinced" the network is better, the network IS better.
not to mention at least 95 to 98% of third party games perform better and more stable on Xbox.
I know it's hard for people to fathom that we don't care about God of War/ /Spider-Man/ horizon zero Dawn or 10,000 jrpgs, but that's just not some people's thing...
you ever notice downloads and patches are smaller on the Xbox system ?
