Funny, I read just the opposite on this very same site.
you're very wrong.
Didn't Sony specifically say that their goal was to ensure enough consoles for the launch? How do you accomplish that AND sell out at the same time? Idiotic.
.
HD-DVD in the photo?
going to be laughing all the way to the bank once Blu-Ray takes off. They couldn't care about the console war so many people are fretting over.
Sorry ALIEN - didn't mean to reply to your post.
Is that why MS is going to release a THIRD 360 model? Whatever...
what exactly they're having my PS3 calculate for them, but it works the cr@p out of the processor...I have a temp sensor next to the fan vents, and nothing has made it reach these temps before - still well within official acceptable operating limits...just found it interesting.
This whole site is like a discussion forum thread gone bad.
is the fact that Sony doesn't give a hoot about the so-called console war. They're in it for the royalties on movies and they're leading. MS could sell 200 360's for each PS3 sold...doesn't make one little difference to the reality of what's happening, and some people just can't handle that truth. Now THAT's pathetic.
HAHA
HAHAHAHA
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
to find out DC Rider created this himself.
There is no console war going on (except the one in the minds of 360 fanboys.
This is about a format war. A war Sony and her partners will win, leaving MS able to offer only 12 HD movies, or having to jump over.
People can spin and color launch number and sales figures all they want, but they're looking at the wrong side of this business.
Oh, and about the exclusives....let them have those old game while the PS3 gets a whole bunch of new exclusive...
I've been playing most of my favorite games on it (old and new), it stores all my dvds, music and photos, I watch amazing looking Blu-ray movies with it. Oh, and it just recently replaced my DVR.
Uhmm when is your next cardboard box arriving?
Actually, maybe you shouldn't send it in (again) - I hear staring at those red rings can be quite a lot of fun.
It's so pathetic how a 360 fan tries to spin this in a negative way.
Consoles in stock is EXACTLY what Sony is trying to accomplish!
They worked very hard to ensure that there were more than enough PS3s, not only to cover the pre-orders, but more.
Why don't you go read up a little before trying to be a...actually, I have no idea what you were trying to accomplish.
You're funny. No, really.
for HD-DVD to survive is to make sh!t up.
First off, Sony has stopped including a movie with the US PS3 a long time ago, so you can stop using that argument.
Second, please look at the movie sales, not the players.
Sony isn't forcing anyone to buy the movies, are they?
Enjoy all the "old" PS exclusives while we get a whole round of new ones.
NEVER!
