What's wrong with weird?
Just something to keep in mind as we reach for the pitchforks.

It’s no big deal. I’m a little on the spectrum and was actually trying to be helpful using correct nomenclature. It matters for some.

25% off on Steam right now, and the price might go up on release. Heard nothing but good things about this one.
One Finger Death Punch is one of my all time favorite Indie games! Humble has it, so Monthly subscribers can get an additional 10% off and $0.30 Humble Wallet credit on top of the very generous 25% launch discount (effectively $5.09 down from $7.99). I almost never buy games on day 1, but this is a no-brainer.
This has been one of the most sale-proof titles of the last couple years. Maybe the Steam version will come down in price a bit faster than the Switch version. (And I know it's worth full price, but I tend to wait for discounts anyway.)
I always thought Dark Souls might as well have been Demon's Souls 2. But I suppose people have less trouble spelling Dark than properly spelling and punctuating Demon's. I mean you can't blame them really... do the souls belong to the demons? Are there multiple demons? Are there souls belonging to multiple demons? Let's just call the series Dark Souls from now on. That'll be easier.
Butt.
Though Randy Pitchford claims that this was 2K's decision and that it has nothing to do with the dev team, it IS a development issue, because it divides the PC player base. By the time the game launches on "other platforms," Epic Game Store and console players will be at the end-game, and the new players will be right at the beginning. Yes, there's is level scaling, but still, this situation is not good at all for a game where people are supposed to be able to play together....
I'm adding Bioware to the B list.
Blizzard. Bethesda. Bioware.
I really hope these companies can turn things around, because right now it feels like they are dead, dying, or some kind of weird zombie apocalypse version of their former selves.
It's one thing to filter out pornographic content and worthless cash grabs with exploitative real money transactions, and quite another to turn away a polished and acclaimed indie game. This doesn't add up.
Forbes is arguing with itself now?
I mean, I'd rather play it modded on PC personally, but you do you!
I hope so. Maybe if the mobile game does well? I hate that companies make decisions based on that, but... here we are.
As long as Super Mario Maker is exclusive to the Wii U, it is a killer app that people will want to own the system for.
The iOS reviews seem to be confirming the worst... :(
Here's hoping Xseed localizes them (or that NISA gets its act together).

I enjoyed Dragon Quest Builders more than Dragon Quest XI! Can't wait for this sequel!
My opinion is that your opinion about the writer's opinion is generally mean and says more about you than the writer. It may have been a bit long winded, but the writer made some points that I've pondered over the years, especially as I get older. I think gamers with 30+ years of experience like myself are more likely to consider the value of their time when choosing what games to invest in, and open world games are often particularly wasteful in that regard. The cost of playing a gam...
