Exactly. Why would the developer go to MS if they know there is an anti-indie policy?
MS just needs to end it. All it is doing is harming their reputation. What is the point of doing a case by case basis?
Why would it be a good move for Sony? Sony has reported stock issues, which means they are selling pretty much as fast as they can produce. There's no logic to drop the price.
A million sales with a $50 price drop, is $50 million in lost profit.
Destiny continues to be a major seller. What's your reason for that?
BREAKING NEWS: COMPANY ABC THINKS PRODUCT XYZ WILL BE THEIR BEST EVER
You realize that 82.5 estimate vs 85 real... is less than 3% error. Which is acceptable by any standard for an estimation.
People need to drop the hate for VGChartz. I used to be a hater. But honestly there isn't a better option. Even though they aren't right, they aren't very far off.
VGChartz estimates, so don't shoot me... but
December 2014 Worldwide Hardware Sales - PS4 3.2M, Xbox One 2.3M, Wii U 1.1M, 3DS 3M
I don't think Sony is worried that MS dropped the price in one single country.
MS hasn't even proven that it can complete without both a price drop and multiple game bundle.
And you're an idiot. This was a scheduled maintenance.
Abriael if that was all that mattered, they'd have been selling it for less since the start.
If they're selling just as fast as they can produce, there is absolutely no reason to drop the price.
Sony also isn't concerned about just the USA like MS is.
If true, which I don't know if it is or isn't. It certainly conflicts with Evolve's stance on DLC.
If it is cosmetic, it is useless. And $25 season pass just for cosmetic stuff?
“There’s nothing that pisses me off more than useless DLC,” says Turtle Rock Studios Creative Director, Phil Robb. “It’s got to mean something – it’s got to add something significant to the game…and that’s what we’re shooting for with our upcoming Hunters and Monsters.” ...
Sorry, but I disagree. The further you go back each console generation, the games generally have less content.
Sure you might find some examples to support your argument... but overall it isn't true.
Palitera there's no proof of what you're saying. Specifically in this case, there is no proof.
There rarely is any proof of that when people try to say that. Sure it has happened.
Even with Destiny. Just because someone glitched into an empty zone... doesn't prove anything. It only proves they started work on it. It doesn't mean it was finished.
I don't see that Evolve did anything wrong. They could have released the main game and made you wait another year or two or three for a sequel. You wouldn't have complained. Instead they choose to offer more content if you so desire. Why should it be free?
DLC existed all last gen on consoles. People just need to accept it. This is the first generation where the base price of games didn't go up $10, so be happy with that.
Games nowadays have...
I'm sure if console players had early access to Assassin's Creed Unity...
No one would have complained about the horrendous issues right?
Idiot developer.
He didn't state it as if he was right. He stated exactly as a his single opinion "only 2 games that interest me are" and "Sony wins for me". Clearly talking about his own opinion.
Oh wow, I wasn't aware people weren't allowed to ask questions on the internet because Google exists.
That wasn't even a new announcement.
This requires a nunchuk right?
@nowitzki
At $180 a year, I don't see how it is a must for anyone. I certainly won't be paying that much money to play old games.
Not sure you can compare it to GameFly considering GameFly offers new games and PSNow games I believe are at nearly 2 years old at best.
If you're a major gamer or you never owned a PS3, I can see the point... but not me.
I never understood why people don't understand this: Just because it works for you, doesn't mean there isn't an issue.
The bright ones are the old build.
