unlike all the fanboys in here, I haven't even gotten started on my NXE yet.....
my 360 RROD on me again..... I hate this cycle. This is my 3rd time sending my machine back. But you know what pisses me off the most? I have a brand new copy of Gears 2 sitting there as I wait for my 360 to be fixed. WTF?
Don't tell me that it doesn't affect me by waiting 2-3 weeks to play a game because my friends are playing it online w/o me and I haven't even gone through 1 stage of Gears 2...

I just updated my 360 to their NXE and it fxxking RROD'ed on me!! WTF??? This is the first time I've turned on my 360 in 4 months and it fxxking RROD on me? I was trying to play Gears 2 (as this is one of the only games I'd actually bought on the 360), now I've got to send it back in to get my 360 replaced. FXXK!!! It'll be 3 weeks before I get it back!!!

I kinda like R1 better than this 2nd one. Not saying R2 was a bad game, but I guess I was just hoping for a longer campaign and maybe a slightly better story.
Now I've got to start Gears 2 and see how that game is.
just sounds like a decent good guy doing what he loves to do. He really believes in their values and has been open with criticism from others. Can't wait for their next game!

does anyone really care anymore? I mean, I haven't touched my GTA4 for at least 2 months now. I doubt that when the DLC comes out, I'd shell out another 20 buck or whatever.... but that's just me though.

I feel R2 will stand it's ground against Gears 2 and give it a good test for each of their respective hardware. Both are good games, you make is sound like R2 will pale in comparison against Gears 2?

This game, Uncharted & MGS4 was well worth the 600 bucks I spent on my 60 gig at launch.
but I'm thinking R2 will still rock harder this X-mas. I will definitely buy Gears 2, and after I finish Gears 2 most of my time will be spent on R2 and LBP and maybe that Zombie game that's coming out later in November for the rest of the year. Honestly, this year has been all about Sony. It's looking like 2009 will be all about Sony also....

this game and Resistance 2. I've got to finished Resistance 2 first before the Nov. 7th...... Kinda tough. Why do they have to release it so damn close to each other? I don't get to enjoy the games as I want to play with the other ones..... decisions, decisions.....
I'm not sure why it's such a big deal with these "Beta" codes? So what if I can't play a small portion of the game 2 weeks before release? I guess it's a matter of preference....I guess I just like to be surprised when I have the full game and play it through while learning the controls. To me, it's like ruining the surprise and knowing what you're going to get x-mas morning.
can't Sony do something like this for LBP.....??? But I guess LBP is getting it's press in another way with it's "controversial" choice in music...
I'm thinking someone will make a level with LBP ASAP mocking this whole ordeal.... and I'm betting the Quran will be ripped-to-threads because of this. If you guys think this was bad, wait until this level comes out by some nut-job..... LOL

I'm not Muslim!!! I don't give a rats-ass what it says. I didn't pre-order my game so I can listen to the music, I bought it so I can PLAY the f-king game!!! If I wanted to listen to the Quran on my ipod, I'd buy the f-king i-tune/mp3 on line!!!
The only games I have on my 360 are Gears 1 (soon Gears 2), and Dead Rising. I will not buy any other games for my 360 unless it's truly an exclusive (excluding Halo as I just borrow it from my friends). The RPG's, I can live w/o as I just don't trust the RROD issues.
While on the other hand, Uncharted, Ratchet, Resistance 1 (soon 2), LBP, Heavenly Sword is all 1st party exclusives for Sony. I will support that and prefer all the other multi-plat games on my PS3.
The first Uncharted did well w/o the Co-op. Look how they f-up GTA 4 with their "co-ops"??? Why mess with Uncharted 2? Some games are best when it's left alone.... ie --> God of War series.
By the way, I just creamed my pants after I watched the teaser.
