our next question should be.... where does this put us with the whole Digital Download concept? I'm waiting for MS to answer that one.
Because obviously, people in research still feel that physical media is still a viable option for data transfer and storage or else they wouldn't spend millions of dollars on research for this.
I suppose it's better than Halo, Zelda or Mario to the nth degree.....
On a side note, I can handle another Gears game. C'mon MS, give me some more games.

My coworker, who is a staunch 360 supporter since day one, actually asked me about the PS3 and is thinking about getting one because there aren't any games he wants to play on the 360..... That made my jaw drop to the floor when he asked me.....

I've never been a fan of the GT series.... but I've always enjoyed their technical achievements......

So, I assume you're not a fan of Uncharted, God of War, Metal Gear, Ratchet or the Kill Zone series? You must only like RPGs than??? Because by my count, those series that I just named pretty much covers all of the genre of games that are out there.
Be real man, go get a PS3 and support it. These games are awesome and the developers should be rewarded for their hard work. Just so you know, I support all 3 consoles. So, I'm not just talking out of my axx.
I feel less and less compelled to buy this game. Especially after the 360 announcements. I'm not saying I won't buy it, but that "fire" has died a bit since E3 last year. I suppose God of War 3 and Uncharted 2 will well tie-me-over to FFXIII. But my copy of Demons Soul and White Knight Chronicles is still waiting to be played.... Damn... I'm really behind on games... What am I doing here writing this thing when I can play these games........ @_@
reading that the "next gen" iphone is to be out relatively soon. Just wait until the next version comes out before you plop down a couple hundred dollars for it.

Correction to 1.6's rant:
It really depends on the equipments that you're running the HDMI or component cables you're running from and to. For me, HDMI is the preferred route as everything has to run through my amp and it just helps me in dealing with just 1 cable per equipment.
In essence, if you've got a lousy HDTV to begin with, it wouldn't matter which cable you run your source to.

appreciate GTA4?? Are you serious? That game wasn't half of what it should've been. If you haven't gotten into the yakuza series since the first one, than it'll be hard for you to start. Remember, it's a different culture in the East. So naturally, people over there would have a different tastes.
got my copy today from gamestop for $29.99. Can't wait to try it out at home. Of course, I've still got tons of games to play.... Damn you Sony!!! Your games are coming out too fast!!
Honestly, how does Sony expect you to play all these games..... I guess it's good that I'll be off L4D on my 360.... I've been addicted to that game for months!!! LOL

I guess you'll just have to buy the PS3 and play the PS3 version if you don't want 5-7 discs..... although I really think SE would have to water-down the PS3 version because they want to make the 360 version on par with the PS3. your best bet is on Versus...

I, myself don't hate action-rpg as much, but I miss the old days of turn-based rpg. IMO, that's what made FF7 one of the best games EVER. Great story and great combat system. Wish SE would go back to that instead of this crap they're putting out.

I'm still in the middle of this game. This is a great game. Too think, I've still got Valkyria Chronicles and K2 to get through...... all before Infamous and Uncharted drops..... All I gotta say is that it's good to be a PS3 owner this year. Well worth the wait!
