As far as I'm concerned, the visual gap has already been widening since Uncharted popped up in 2007 on the PS3.

I know almost nothing about KZ2 beside knowing that it's shooter. I refrained from reading the articles as I don't do it for God of War 3 and Uncharted 2 either. I find it just ruining the gaming experience for myself. Part of the charm of Uncharted and God of War series for me was that it was a word-of-mouth thing for me and it was all the surprises that made the game that much more memorable.

The PS3 brought Blu-ray.
And both 360 & PS3 brought the graphics that I can enjoy on the recent surge in HDTV purchase.

I'm really holding back on reading anything related to Uncharted 2. The first one was such a pleasant surprise that I can honestly say that it is my favorite game for this current gen. One of the reason that I liked it so much was because I knew nothing about the game. It was more of a word-of-mouth thing for me. Enough of the articles already!!! I haven't played the beta or really read any reviews about it yet (but have seen some in-game videos), but I suspect that this game will show gamers what they should really expect for the so-called "Next-Gen" games (excluding Uncharted & MGS IV, and maybe Gears 2). Not that water-ed down stuff they call multi-plats.
