"Calling it a Cache is misleading, I think."
A cache is a place to store items, in computer technical terms, it stores data and information to be used for later when needed instead of rewriting it every time into the memory then reading it.
A cache is not meant to delete itself upon exit unless programed to do so and Sony has not stated that they programmed it that way.
So to call it "cache" is not misl...
64 players, 2 commanders, and 2 spectators maybe for competitive events or owners of the server? I don't know, but hopefully it's actually a slight player increase, even if it only adds just 2 or 4 more players.
The funny thing is that this is in response to "some analysts."
I don't think EA should of even bothered stating this. Unless they're trying to stay off the #1 "worst company in America" again but this really says that they might be insecure about something. If they know Respawn has enough time, then just let the game talk during the last days before launch. Confidence in your products is key to get them to sell and give out a good reaction, abolis...
Doubt they'll just send him to jail or get punishment with valuable information of how to hack websites.
Most likely, he'll get payed to keep his mouth shut and use him to increase their security for future attacks. It's how it works, sometimes, they even work for the victim to stay out of jail. You know, help them figure out all the security holes to strengthen them. Possibly even get a job keeping security steady once he gets older. The kid is a genius with comp...
Native 900p scaled up for a 1080p screen will result in a blurry picture due to the textures being stretched to fit the screen.
There's a broader difference scaling from 900p native to 1080p than 540p native to 720p. The reason why is because there's more pixels between 900p and 1080p than there is between 540p and 720p that's why we barely noticed the upscale blurriness this gen. (I'm aware the Xbox One version is 720p native. Just explaining the upscaling of...
"Il stay home with the x1, where you get the most big budget titles."
Knowing Microsoft's history for the last 2 console generations, you won't be saying that after 4-5 years from now in the 10 year console life span.
But I'll give you points for admitting the PS4 has superior graphics though trust me, it won't be "a couple straws more" in the future when the DDR3 also shows it's limit.
I'll stick ...
The blurry textures is because when you set a native 900p game to be upscaled to 1080p, the textures get stretched out to fit the screen. Consoles use the optimum or highest resolution setting for each game.
How do I know it was an upscaled to 1080p vs native 720p comparasion? Notice how the HUD on the PS4 version is farther into the corner, signifying a higher resolution was used.

lol I'm starting to believe Belking is the making of someone's evil lab experiment. How far can a fanboy go? Well, now we know that when the truth hurts they end up stating that multi platform games are only playable on one console.
@PS4beaver
And you got so many disagrees for being in denial. Represents that no matter where you go, there will always be that one person calling bullshit on facts presented.
lol So much denial, I can imagine you turning off your PC after posting the comment and never coming back to see that you have been corrected.
It's not the Sony fanboys, everyone is claiming and accepting the fact that the PS4 version is better. (IGN, Gamespot, even Digital Foundry, the source you cherry picked from says it.)
I'm going to use your cherry pick and some logic against you. If upscaling from native 900p to 1080p looks less crisp than 720p...
The Xbox version in the first image Riderz linked suffers from something called "black crush" and not something as simple as a color difference.
Black crush happens when the quality of the transfer from the source material is poor, resulting in areas where dark is too dark and greys are darker than it should be. The Xbox One lacks a way to correct this, so a bad port will look like a bad port, there's not many ways to hide it. Unless they add baked lighting to o...
The Xbox version needs 2 different TV shows snapped on the screen to distract you from the lack of anti-aliasing and bad lighting. lol
lol "Stop putting your rumours all over n4g." -Legacy
Yea, you're a straight up hypocrite, especially when you said the PS4 overheats after 4 hours of game time. Like you were hogging a PS4 booth with a stopwatch for 4 straight hours.
The funny thing is that newmonday linked evidence that the 720p only resolution for Xbox One's version of CoD: Ghosts could actually be true while you made up a rumor on the spot that the PS4 overheats in 4 hou...
Anyone remember SOCOM had voice commands? And this goes way back to the PS2 days when we first started using mics with our consoles. (Of course, there's that Pokemon game also on the N64 that used voice commands)
Those commands weren't 100% accurate all the time but mics also weren't as advanced and clear as today.

This is sad and there's even two accounts that typed the same comment like they were quickly trying to balance the rating. Not only is it done for more people to try it out based on score but they also admit they created a failure. I know other studios that used the same tactic and it's a small cancer to gaming, resulting in crappy games giving the illusion that at least it's mediocre "hate it or love it" type of game but it's much worse than that.
It has more to do with Xbox only gamers always saying that Ryse is looking better than Killzone even though they're comparing it to a build from E3/Gamescom.
They both look good but if this is true then console gamers are in for a surprise once new gameplay comes out. Just like Ryse has better lighting with new screenshots, I wouldn't be surprised if the other games get shown with improved graphics at launch day.
Even if all of us accepted the fact that graphics don't matter in making a great exclusive, thing is...Playstation exclusives not only outnumber Xbox exclusives but also outshine them in quality.
I'm not just talking about Uncharted or God of War. It's those lesser known/played games still nevertheless great like Heavy Rain or Tales of Xillia. Playstation has the advantage of more variety.
Sony not only has more exclusives but better hardware. Abo...
You must own a Walkman then since you're still living in that old tech era. lol
Funny how I own an expensive phone with a removable battery, too and it's been 1 year of recharging but still works like new.
Would of been nice to have a similar removable slim battery for the Xbox One controller but nope, still with tech from the 90s.
lol That slogan rings true because of a reported problem with the Xbox One drivers.

Let me explain in simple terms...
As you play the game, the disc automatically installs itself into the hard drive which results in better loading times the next time you decide to play it. This not only speeds up loading times, but helps textures to load up quickly as you play and also prevents the blu-ray laser from getting extra wear and tear because the disc data can be easily read from the hard drive. (where the PS4 keeps the memory.)
Just play the game ...
