Uncharted 2's opening scene still send chills down my spine.
Gave you that, what DID you do? excitement...
Last of Us, one of the fastest times it made me feel that sad lump in a game. lol Was too realistic...
If Uncharted 4 surpasses both, then did Naughty Dog just surpass perfection again?
Holy sh#t, man...
Who knows really. Quantum Break currently sits at 77 on Metacritic.
When most, if not, a lot of Ratchet & Clank games scored higher than that...then this has the potential to reach a very high rating, easily.
I like to look at the overall score after about a few days to a week, than look at N4G's top headlines cause I know those cause the more heat and therefore, more spicy.
Both are great games.
Even Into the Nexus was considered good.
I know this is just the first review, that I've seen...but I knew this one wasn't going to disappoint. The upgrading system really enthralled me and the graphics look gorgeous. It even has that trademark humor I always loved about the series that doesn't miss, at least for me.
Hope the movie does well, too. Might end up being the best "based on a game" movie ...
@magiciandude
And then you read that Halo 5 released on October 27, 2015, with 5 days of sales in that month and 2 days of potential sales in the next...drops down to number 8 on November 2015 NPD

And gets beaten by a poorly marketed, not many people cared, 6/10 game, Need For Speed. Lastly, PS4 takes the number one spot...
If the game size isn't equal or close to filling up a standard bluray disc, at 50Gb, then...they lied about "full sized games". Even then, they can fill the game up with so much filler, like a good chunk on mini games and that can do the job. But... "full sized games" doesn't mean it has to be 50 Gb, so my previous statement about it doesn't mean much in some way. I just want them to really create the biggest Final Fantasy they ever made with 7. When you combin...
From article:
"When I bring up the project, (refering to FF14) Yoshida flat-out refers to it as a failure. He believes the only way for Square Enix to come back from Final Fantasy XIV's disastrous first impression is to be up front. "It's easy to look away from your mistakes, but then you're bound to repeat them if you don't address them," he says."
I have played Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn and instead of falling into ...
You're probably still sticking to your guns, but I found this interesting interview with Kojima that mentions Kurt Russell. The interview was done about 2 years ago, I'll say early 2014.
Question:
"You never thought Kurt Russell dubbing Snake?"
Answer:
"We have tried to contact him but we never reached an agreement. It has always been a potential candidate but we had to take into account the age and per...

This one, I almost believed.

He even tried to show us trying to drive it...that's style.
But if you look really close, you can spot the original driver waking up from being unconscious in the back and then notice that the "MONSTER" is not paint, but created with black duct tape.
Very clever, very clever indeed.

Every multiplatform game developed so far that doesn't include a PC version, were designed on a PC for PS4 and the Xbox One got the inferior port unless they both perform and look equal.
That statement holds true, but it doesn't "go both ways."

Knocking out points cause The Last of Us was too difficult and there was realistic gun recoil, scoring it a 7.5.
"But at increasingly frequent points in the narrative, I had to buckle down and deal with the messy gunplay and repeated checkpo...
Not true...
I can go into further detail, but with a statement like yours... You're at a point of no return. "For one game" is subjective, because people like different games, to be fair, but inferior ports on PS4 vs Xbox One? Gotta be crazy...
A much more detailed explanation by hiawa when it comes to differences.
Also loading times like in Mass Effect's infamous elevator is slightly increased.

I never played The Burning Crusade or Vanilla, but you're right...Wrath of the Lich King had so much going for it, but like I stated under Hoffman's question above, Blizzard started doing questionable things close to mid point and to the end of the content. I remembered they removed proper talent point spreading so hybrid builds like the infamous, Subtlety+Assassination rogue, a build I played for my entirety of PvP, could not be made anymore.

It makes games run more stable, frame rate wise. There are some games that take a noticeable hit, though, like Halo: Reach. I know they fixed the online split screen problem, but there is a delay when looking when played online. I'm not sure if they fixed that, too, later on, but that really put me and my friend off.
They are exactly the same, graphics wise, but the point is to be able to play your 360 games on Xbox One. If you own an Xbox One and not a 360, then this can...
My bad, thanks for correcting me.
I really didn't know BioWare was working on 2 sci fi projects at once.
Just knowing that now, just means that this game will be even better than originally expected.
Having Bioware help, I know for sure that not only will gameplay not feel clunky at all, but there will be a squad mechanic because both Mass Effect and Dragon Age had those and they worked very well. Actually, it's difficult to think of ...
You're right. This being Visceral games, the people that created Dead Space, a very refreshing survival horror franchise, I'm sure they will get the customization right.
Dead Space had plenty of upgrades to your weapons and armor so they can just expand on that.
Epic space battles? Yes please. Well done space battles with smooth 3rd person mechanics will make this game stand out way more. Remember the old Star Wars flying games like Rogue Squadron? If...
I've seen people that aren't even good at those type of games beat it on Twitch. People that specialize in Counter Strike and other shooters, rarely playing rpgs like these.
It's about learning from mistakes. The game doesn't give you all these random encounters when you restart from a safe point. You learn new tactics as you go. Learn when enemies are about to attack, predict their movement, their charge up time, their range. Make a class that you know you...
